There are Bury restaurants to suit everyone
You'll find a wide range of high quality restaurants in Bury, with cuisines spanning European through to American and Asian. There's a large migrant community from Bangladesh and Pakistan, and this heritage is reflected in the excellent range of curry houses – including Shahbaaz Curry Cottage, which has been a firm favourite with the locals since the mid-Nineties. Look out for unusual house specials such as the begum bahar marinated chicken, with minced beef and a sour, hot sauce. Asia Lounge in the town centre is also highly recommended, and the Palak Chicken Tikka Special is one of the chef's most highly requested dishes.
