Went for boys weekday lunch. Foie gras (house made) served still moist and with ginger bread and an imaginative condiment of onion and grenadine 'marmalade' and grains of lavender flower. Steak tartare (made to order) with quail egg yolk decoration. Excellent scallops. Reliable and affordable choice of wine. All very reasonably priced. Charming, authoritative and with hassle free service. Definitely worth support.
It was really nice their. It simple little restaurant and traditional and that what I wanted. You can tell it's a family restaurants. I notice only one person serving and taking orders. But that didn't bothered me cause me and my lady was just chatting away. Key thing about this place is that other "french" people went their as well so that speaks volume. Definitely go back again.
