I have been eating at San Lorenzo for a while and it always surprises and impress. The cuisine is inventive and original, with an often changing seasonal menu championing regional Italian dishes and adding it's own twist. What I particularly like about this place though, is the old school hospitality extended by Ghigo, the owner, something rarely found in today's corporate environment. The restaurant really comes alive during the Wimbledon tennis championships and is frequented by many of the players. The secluded garden is a real delight in the summer.
Quick stop for lunch whilst visiting a friend in Wimbledon..We all had pasta dishes. The quality is really superb here...the linguine with sword fish outstanding. Will certainly revisit when back.
The starters and drinks took too long to come in spite of the restaurant having only 3 tables occupied and 4 waitresses. Fixed price me by choice was poor and we had been there before and then the choce of dishes was excellent. My wife has had chicken as her main dish and had upset stomach.
