Enfield Town, located within the Enfield Borough, is a charming part of London full of historical sites, beautiful scenery and excellent choices for eating. In addition to offering many great opportunities for sightseeing, Enfield is known for being a family-friendly region with excellent schools, good connections to town, among many other features. One of Enfield’s claims to fame is that it was home to the first ever ATM machine, installed at one of the Barclays Bank branches in 1967. Like much of London, residents in Enfield have access to nearly any type of world cuisine. Japanese cuisine, Italian, French and South Asian cuisines are all represented here, providing locals many excellent choices outside of classic English dishes.
