Places to Eat in Kensington: Exhibition Road
Kensington’s aptly-named Exhibition Road is home to three of England’s best museums and several of the world’s greatest scientific and research institutions. This area is known to some as Albertopolis, referring to the achievements made by Prince Albert using profits of the Great Exhibition of 1851. Home to the Imperial College of London, the Natural History museum, and the Victoria and Albert Museum, this street is truly representative of the achievements made by the English. If on a budget, Exhibition Road also includes slightly cheaper options, like in one of the road’s hip cafes. Surrounded by so many astounding research institutions, great Kensington restaurants shine on Exhibition Road and provide necessary fuel for museum-hopping.
