One of central London’s most beautiful neighbourhoods, Pimlico has managed to retain its old-world charm through its elegant, simply decorated buildings. Near to the Tate Britain museum, Buckingham Palace and other major London sights like Westminster Abbey, this mostly residential area is directly in the centre of city life. That being said, the streets still maintain a certain calmness that makes this one of the most desirable spots to live in all of London. On nearly every street corner there is a cute café, shop or pub frequented by locals who know where the best spots in town are. Ask them what they know, or just head to Quandoo. Adjacent to the River Thames, there's hardly a more picturesque area in which to find a restaurant.
