Another wonderful evening with great service and excellent food - the weather was good and so we had a drink on the terrace first and then went to our reserved table
I always enjoy coming to Cote At Paul's when I am in London. The food is always delicious, and being gluten free it is a delight to have an extensive menu to choose from.
A most convivial evening at Cote in the shadow of St. Paul's, only a stones throw away and towering above the restaurant, a most reverted and serene sight.
This is a great venue and convenient to the office. Food was served quickly and was very tasty. I will definitely come here again soon.
Very conveniently located. Booking was painless and, although we arrived earlier than expected, we were able to go straight to our table. Service was prompt and friendly throughout. Atmosphere on the functional/utilitarian side, but in a good way - and plenty of space around tables. The Cote menu is excellent in its variety - and in its consistent standard across all the branches I've visited - and is very competitively priced. Also it seems to be fixed for relatively long periods, so you know what you'll be getting and can plan in advance if time at the restaurant is going to be limited. We had just a main course, but it was generous in size, well cooked and exactly what was needed. The bill for four with just main courses, some bread and olives and a glass of something each was a whisker over £100.00, including a fixed 12.5% service charge. (My only reservation is not knowing for sure whether the service charge goes direct to the staff - I believe Cote was one of the chains cited in the press not long ago for not ensuring this.) - Overall, very good indeed and a completely safe recommendation.
Received a Great, Warm welcome from the staff when I attended here for Lunch. The choice as usual is very difficult to choose from as all the food from Cote is very tempting and tasty . We decided on the Lamb chops Special which was amazing, however could do without the Roquefort butter in my opinion, which was too strong and overpowering that it masked the taste of the Perfectly cooked lamb chops. For dessert we had the Profiteroles which was filled with ice cream and was absolutely delicious and the Coupe Noir, our Cote favourite. We were served by members of the management team and our waitress, Nalia. Good service from all as usual, however Nalia, noticed that my guest dropped a napkin on the floor, and immediately replaced it with a fresh one, going beyond normal expectations. It was my first time at this branch and will definitely be returning for more.
Perfection from start to finish. Nice friendly welcome and given a choice of seats. We had Breton fish stew which was deemed absolutely gorgeous, filled with clams, mussels, squid, vegetables, with sea beam on the top and in a fabulous liquid, this dish was being raved over. We also had belly pork, which again was a very good choice, nice size portion on a bed of cabbage, vegetables and a calvados sauce, it also came with gratin potatoes Both dishes were bigger than we expected and much tastier than we thought they would be We shared a Chocolate fondant with ice cream for afters and it was a good choice The only thing we would have liked was draft Lager rather than just bottles The service throughout was excellent from the friendly professional staff All in all we enjoyed our visit very much and will return
French restaurants are pretty expensive in the USA so we have been visiting Cote for nearly 5 years whenever we have been in London. The food is consistently good. During our 2 weeks stay we went to this place 3 times, twice for dinner, once for lunch. we had the same waiter, a very nice guy. Everything worked perfectly, the staff was nice, we enjoyed the duck confit as well as the fish dishes. The free water would be standard in the USA but rare in the UK. At Cote we got unlimited chilled water. At one visit the staff even entertained our friend 3 year old daughter. We would be happy to return.
This was an on boarding lunch with a new recruit and it was a great place to have it. The food was excellent, the staff seated us in a booth which was relatively quiet and made it easy to talk. I advised the waiter we would need quick service which I got the impression he took a little bit of offence at, but it was not intended that way, I just knew I had to get my lunch companion back to the office by a certain time. That said, the service was superb and we even had time for a delicious fresh mint tea at the end. All in all a professional and congenial atmosphere, delicious food, great service. I will be back.
We had lunch in Cote. The manager Dan is very professional, customer focused and friendly as was our fabulous waiter. I had the Herb Roasted Chicken Supreme (herb roasted chicken supreme wrapped in French streaky bacon, served with Jerusalem artichokes and a creamy mustard sauce) and my colleagues both had the Fish Parmentier (Cod, haddock, prawn and salmon in a creamy white wine and leek sauce, topped with mash potato and Gruyère cheese) both meals were absolutely delicious and would highly recommend a visit to the St Paul's branch of Cote. 10/10 for both quality of food and service!
