We were at Tinto on a busy Saturday evening. The service was exemplary, although a bit slow to get started. The food was its usual high standard, and the staff were very friendly and obliging. We are going back to try the dishes we didn't have room for this time.
Excellent food and service. Will definitely be back. Makes a nice change to eat authentic, fresh tapas served by staff who are passionate and know what they are talking about
Good food, real authentic Spanish cuisine. Service was excellent and ambience was good. ( 25 words is a lot so I will have to waffle on a bit to get to 25 👍😮)
Excellent restaurant, could not fault anything food amazing, best Tortilla I've ever had, service was brilliant. Lovely authentic Spanish restaurant will be going back and definitely recommend
We had the Tapas menu for lunch. We weren't sure how many to have each so we asked the waiter who advised that on average 3. The meat dishes were very tender and full of flavour. I personally don't eat seafood but the rest of my part said theirs was lovely. The aubergine crisps were very tasty. The only thing I would say is if you're not keen on too much salt ask them to go easy on it. Apart from that, staff were very friendly and food came very quickly.
The staff were very nice however service was exceptionally slow and some of the food was cold. We were waiting in the entrance for 15-20 minutes before seated and could see our table the entire time. When sat down we were told menus would be brought over - 15 minutes later I went and got menus myself from the bar. We weren't served drinks in that time either. Another 25 minutes later food was ordered. Food itself didn't take too long, and it was nice and of good quality, however some of the mains were cold and the pudding was cold too. The staff did offer us cava on the house, we politely declined due to dry January and they gave us a free pudding instead. Overall the bill was exceptionally cheap - £13.40 for 5 dishes and 50% off due to January offer. We still left a tip and didn't complain as the staff were very nice and friendly.
We visited when Tinto first opened and although it was good it wasn’t good enough to make us come back quickly ..... however we went one evening this week and went straight back again last night. The food is materially better, service is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the meal. Give it a try!
We are inundated with Tapas bars at the moment, this is one of the better ones but as someone who can take or leave Tapas I would opt for the main menu next time. I found the Tapas a little salty, a little great but that most tapas to me. The atmosphere is good, service good. Ladies toilets out of order, which isn't good. Would I go again, maybe if it was my friends choice, to try main menu.
We visited on a Saturday evening and although the restaurant was busy service was excellent. I was very impressed by the enthusiasm and professionalism of all the staff we dealt with. We had tapas and the dishes were delicious. A lively atmosphere, without being overwhelming, added to the enjoyment of the evening.
Very busy due to 50% off offer, but staff were very attentive. Some dishes such as the mixed peppers were average, and some were wonderful (the iberica meat in particular). Only gripe is that our waiter did not need to bring us change from the bill, which felt a bit like a oft used tactic to get more tips.
