The historic town of Northampton was destroyed in a fire in the seventeenth century and rebuilt around the handsome medieval square. Today, the picturesque layout is home to independent boutiques, cosmopolitan cafes, busy pubs and some great eateries. With plenty to do you can see an arthouse film at the Errol Flynn Filmhouse, walk from Grendon to Castle Ashby or take a tour at Silverstone. The gastronomic scene is well worth experiencing too and there are some excellent Japanese restaurants in Northampton for you to visit. So whether you're craving sushi or noodles, you'll be sure to find fresh flavours and superb service on offer in every establishment.
