Lovely meal, which came, as part of the day's special deal, with a pint of beer, so we got excellent value for money. The pie was tasty, and the vegetables in particular were very good - al dente and full of flavour. They do great mashed potato here too - a lovely change from chips! We ate outside at a comfortable table on chairs with cushions - so overall it was a lovely meal out.
Saturday evening, table booked for 7 but the restaurant wasn't open. We were asked to sit next to a big screen with sport on to wait. 7:20 we find someone to see if our table is ready. When we get to our seats only us and one other table occupied. Another group did arrive but that was it so obviously no ambience. Food was fine, staff were friendly enough but won't be rushing back.
We each had 3 courses, all delicious and attentive service that was second to none. Well done Rodney. We will be back without hesitation. Thoroughly recommended.
