Inspired by the rustic Italian cuisine from the Amalfi coastline, Amalfi Trattoria is a Glasgow institution. Opened in 1943 (formerly known as Lido Café) Amalfi is a family-run restaurant where their passion for Italian culture and food runs deep. With a cosy and warm atmosphere and welcoming service, the team at Amalfi make every guest feel like they’re part of the family. This unpretentious trattoria is located on West Nile Street, a short distance from the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and the Theatre Royal Glasgow/Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, making it the perfect pre or post theatre venue. Boasting an extensive menu ranging from housemade pizzas, pasta and primi and secondi piatti, it is recommended you book a table in advance to secure your spot.
Little hidden gem. Lovely food, reasonably priced and nice and central for a 5 minute walk to theatre. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone who likes Italian food
Lovely restaurant. Friendly and attentive staff and the food is gorgeous and great value for money. Ideal for a pre-theatre. Will definitely be going again and highly recommend.
great little authentic restaurant with good food and very handy for a pre theatre meal before going to a concert at the royal concert hall
