The atmosphere was perfect for a Valentine's meal and each course just got better and better. I highly recommend the moussaka - tastes delicious and very authentic. I cannot wait to go back!

Great restaurant - good food and friendly staff. At time of writing no alcohol license but we bought our own bottle (from nearby Coop!) and it all worked well. We will be back :-)

Lovely food, bit different to other Greek restaurants, really tasty and not oily. We loved the saganaki starter and meze platter. BYO made it a cheap meal out. Would definitely recommend

Brilliant food, service and overall experience! The food was beautifully presented, great quality and reasonably priced! Being able to take your own alcohol was a treat also, making it affordable as a student and a lovely treat for my 21st birthday!

It was our first visit to the Amalthea Greek bistro, the food was excellent, a lovely atmosphere with happy, friendly waitresses, just reminds you of holidays in Greece. We will definately recommend the bistro to friends and will return in the future.

Great food! Great service! The olives were delicious! And the sea bream I had was cooked just how I like it. Lots of options for vegans and vegetarians. My friend had the stuffed peppers and love it! We didn't have dessert as we were full. Will definitely go back.

Lovely food and atmosphere, real cute bistro decor. Seems family friendly as well. The staff were very friendly. Will definitely visit again! The deli is also worth checking out for some goodies to take home.

Food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Menu not vast, but plenty of variety and includes some incredible puddings. Beautiful place, can't wait to go again :-)

I have now been to Amalthea 6 times since they opened last July. Never disappointed - always happy with the food and friendly service. Definitely recommend it for lunch or dinner, informal or formal.

Great authentic Greek food & excellent service. Nice little shop where you can buy Greek products as well. Well worth a visit. Not licenced as yet so they operate a bring your own wine policy.

Had a lovely lunch.....food really tasty, the cafe is newly decorated, very clean and a Mediterranean feel to it. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definately go back...the menu is very exciting...it came as a recommendation and I recommend everyone should visit. No licence but u can take ur own alcohol and no corking charge.

Booked for a Saturday evening. The restaurant was full when we went creating a great atmosphere. The food is lovely and the service charming. The menu is only small, but there is a good choice nonetheless, with vegetarian options too. BYO is a great bonus. A nice addition to Adel. Thanks :)

Love this new addition to the eating choices in North Leeds. This is a really attractive restaurant and made all of us reminisce about past meals in Greek tavernas on holidays spent on sunny Greek Islands. A very extensive menu and all 4 of us would rate highly the choices we made. I can personally recommend the mini spinach pie starter (mini by name but not by nature) and the very tasty pork loin special which defeated me in the end but I got a doggie bag to take home for a very grateful Labrador! Lovely staff who are attentive and cheerful. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

So far I have been several times with friends or family and never been disappointed with the quality of the food or the service. Great-tasting Greek dishes, authentic enough to satisfy my Greek taste but also modern enough not to be boring and same-oldish!

Excellent food and friendly, attentive service. The restaurant was packed with a couple of big tables but the noise level wasn't intrusive. Wide selection of authentic Greek dishes and reasonable price points. Not sure about the arrangements for bringing your own alcohol (no licence) but everyone seemed to be managing just fine! Stayed at our table long after we had finished eating and didn't come under any pressure to pay up and leave. Highly recommend for food, service and atmosphere.

Delicious authentic Greek cuisine, excellent service, lovely relaxed atmosphere, actually feels like you're on holiday. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant, will definitely be visiting again.

The most Greek restaurant in Leeds. Anything from the food and smells, to the decorations inside the shop made you feel as if you stepped in a restaurant in Greece. The staff couldn't be any friendlier and helpful. The prices were also quite reasonable. Highly recommended!

Super food and very friendly staff. Certainly will be going again. Good early bird deal and above average vegetarian choice. Don't forget to take your own retsina if you like wine with your meal.

Fantastic food, lovely setting and very pleasant staff. Thoroughly recommend. We had the Mezze and can't complain at all. Only realised late on it was bring your own bottle.
