One of two in the city, the other being on the other side of town in Gedling, Amore’s is one restaurant that successfully maps the atmosphere, flavour and colour of the Mediterranean onto UK turf. Amore’s has gone from strength since opening its doors in 2003 as a 60-seater eatery, adding a bar and lounge area that’s perfect for casual drinks and antipasti. The kitchen remains one of the best representatives of Italian cuisine in the area, with all the regions of Italy covered on a menu that is structured the classical way, from starters and salads through to pasta and risotto, main courses and desserts. We particularly recommend the marinated fillet steak, matured for 21 days, glazed with dolcelatte cheese & cream and served in a port and chianti sauce – pure italian indulgence.
