Thinking about making a Antico Restaurant booking?

What brings people together? It's not the faith and its not the background. It is the passion we share for one thing. Owner of the restaurant Antico on Bermondsky Street met the chef Nicholas Schizas working, side by side in an Italian kitchen run by Theo Randall. And even though their backgrounds are as different as they could be, it is the unwavering passion for traditional Italian food. What makes this restaurant so special is the way it makes you feel while dining. We're talking about dishes that melt in your mouth and suddenly takes you to a place in south western Tuscany. This is how it feels to be sat at a table with your 23 Italian cousins feasting on a giant dish of the freshest homemade fazzoletti that your grandmother made for your whole family.

In the open kitchen, you can watch while the chefs create one earthy masterpiece after the other. Order the pan roasted pork chop, prosciutto, spinach and mashed potatoe and enjoy the culinary pleasure. What about a Monkfish, Tomato, chilli garlic and garlic risotto with a good glass of fine Italian wine? It's not hard to stay for longer, in the low lit and cosy room, with weathered mirrors and soft oak floors. We are grateful that this restaurant opened its doors at the dawn of 2012. Cause ever since the Antico on Bermondsky Street serves finest Italian cuisine like no one else.
