One of the area’s best Indian restaurants, Apricot Restaurant invites you to indulge in their tasty South Asian cuisine at their location on Carnegie Drive. Serving up authentic Indian cuisine in a typical Scottish-style dining space, this sophisticated restaurant offers a unique alternative to other nearby restaurants. Found near the town centre of Dunfermline, Apricot Restaurant is perfect for local foodies looking to branch out from their usual routine. Try the restaurant’s three-course lunch menu and choose from starters like garlic mushrooms or traditional chicken tikka, mains such as the vegetable korma or lamb bhuna, and your choice of naan or rice. There are many delicious specials to sample at Apricot Restaurant – go for the garlic lobster, the lamb shanks with a Kashmiri masala sauce, the seabass or the guinea fowl breast with a delicious red wine masala sauce. No matter when you plan to visit, make sure to book ahead of time!
The food was excellent and the staff were both friendly and very efficient The service was also excellent I would certainly highly recommend the Apricot and would visit again
Every aspect of the meal was first clasd as always and the foid was truly exceptional, by far tje best Indian restaurant i have ever been too. Dunfermline is very lucky to have this place, looking forward to our next visit!!
We asked for the pre-theatre menu which is amazing value! You get pappadums and dips, starters, curry and rice or naan for just £10.99 each! The food was delicious and the service friendly. A fantastic Indian restaurant.
Food was amazing service was exellent would highly recommend. We had the pre-theatre menu which is very good value and staff are very attentive and make sure you are happy
Meals at Apricot are always delightful. Fabulous tasty food with great friendly service. Portions are always large so I rarely manage to finish a dish ! Our party of 4 ordered different dishes from one another and no one was disappointed with their meal. There is no pressure to leave your table once you are finished eating either.
I have been to many Indian Restaurants in my time and Apricot is up there with some of the best. The service was first class and the lamb dishes are as good as I have tasted. The only blemish were the starters which I felt could have been tastier (too dry) and appeared to have been on the buffet table for some time.
Fantastic food and service as always. We especially love the Lamb shank dish and I had the mussels to start which were delicious. My daughter had the lamb starter which sits in a shell shaped poppadum she loved it. We travel from Musselburgh to Dunfermline it is so good
This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we were very impressed by the welcome we received and the staff service was excellent, the meal itself was perfect and could not be faulted. We will definitely be back.
Eaten here a few times now, food always excellent. Last visit on a sunday evening and both buffet and a la carte on offer. Decided to eat from buffet, but would recommend either option based on previous visits.
Lovely food and friendly staff .I have visited twice for 3 course lunch and will definitely be back soon Handy for parking as free Tesco car park just across the road .
