Astare

It was my second visit and am as impressed with the food service and ambiance this time as I was the first. Everything I was served up both times looked and tasted great. The friends and family with me were also impressed. The staff are very attentive and provide excellent service. The bill is slightly above average for the meal but well worth the extra for what you get overall. I don't live within the town where Astare is based so won't be able to pop in on the off chance whilst passing but it will certainly be my special place where I will book to go in the future.

I went to Astare for lunch and was delighted to see a dedicated lunchtime menu, offering great value for money. The staff were very friendly and we shared a few laughs. Couldn't recommend it more!

Lovely meal, it was for a birthday 🎁. Staff were able to reserve the table that i wanted. Food and service were excellent. Staff came out singing with the birthday cake which made the night even better. Many thanks will defintately go back again!

Had a fantastic meal to celebrate my daughter's exam results. We opted for their Astare Special (Serves 3-4) and ordered a couple of other dishes. The special was a good 4 person feast and the starters that came with it were shared by 5 adults and a child, so more than enough. Staff were friendly. We will definitely be going back again.

Really nice venue. Good service and lovely food. Not an over extensive menu but still plenty of choice. We'll certainly be going back. Also, not overly expensive. Three courses for two people, with drinks, less than £60. Bargain!

Food fantastic as always and so much of it too, brilliant value. Staff freindly and professional, service fast. Have been 6 or 7 times now and never dissapointed.
