Been to Asti a few times now, never been disappointed. Staff friendly & attentive, cosy surroundings, great food . Love the arancini stater, it's a large one- usually the reason I rarely have desert, although there's a good selection.

The best macaroni cheese I've ever had; and I've eaten and made loads. Made with 3 cheeses. Gooey and bliss comfort food. Packet salad was a let down. Friendly family atmosphere. Reasonable service.

My friends and I had a very positive experience at Asti... Good service , very attentive pleasant waitress and good food. Excellent. I would happily recommend Asti to friends especially if they are going to a show at the Playhouse as it is close by; just a short walk..

We had a lovely meal on Sunday evening . We were greeted by the staff as we came into the restaurant on a freezing evening and were settled into our seats coats hung up and menus provided and specials advised. Cocktails list and wine menu have a good selection of beverages. We ordered starters and mains and enjoy our tipples till the starters arrived which were delicious. A short time after starters our mains arrived Saltimbucca Sea bass Lamb Chops and chicken all cooked well with nice accompanying vegetables and sauces. Sweets and coffees followed a nice Panna cotta and lovely Tiramisu. All in all a great place for food served by attentive staff with no fuss in a small and friendly place.

The food from the fixed price lunch menu was good and the service was excellent. The only thing that lets this restaurant down for me is the lay out of the tables for two which are small and pushed in at awkward angles. This was my third visit to Asti so obviously wouldn’t stop me from returning as the plus points outweigh the minuses. I’m sure the management could do a little tweaking here?
