Yet another excellent experience at this lovely restaurant. We booked an early a table for a pre-theatre meal & the staff were there ready to greet us. The food and the service were first class

Excellent food, beautifully spiced and served with grace. We went for the distinctively Nepalese dishes and were not disappointed but they also serve a full range of British curry favourites.

Staff welcomed us to the restaurant and offered us a choice of tables as we were eating quite early and it wasn’t full yet. Staff were attentive and friendly - good varied choices on the menu with a selection of chef specials. We did not have to wait to long for the food to arrive and when it did it lived up to our expectations- very tasty. Recommended

Excellent restaurant in a great location. We both had shashlick and were really impressed with the quality and flavour. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for a great curry

Totally fantastic meal and perfect service. Would highly recommend going to anyone who loves Indian crusine but just make sure you book in advance as it appears really popular which just shows how good it is.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and great tasting food. When we arrived we were seating straight away and the food came out in a very timely manner

Everyth8ng was good and nice. The gherka lamb was particularly nice. I wasn't sure about the pathia though it was still nice but not the same as what i am used to from other restaurants. Tasted a bit like chinese sweet and sour with chilli in. Overall we all enjoyed it staff very helpfyl too.

Huge selection of fantastic food on the menu. Always a warm welcome, lovely food and relaxed atmosphere. Well priced and good portions. We will be returning again soon. Have the Momo dumplings for your starter-yum yum.

Without doubt the best curry I’ve ever had.superb experience from start to finish.order from the special menu for a different curry experience.we will be back.

Great food and excellent service. We were welcomed and seated quickly even though we were half an hour early. At every stage, the staff made sure we had everything we wanted.

Polite staff, lovely food and a great place for an evening out. Forward Indian food with good produce. Also good menu so can try different things each time.

Found it in Mardol, Shrewsbury. Ideally situated near the town centre, handy for a drink before or after. Menu was really varied but traditional was also available. Food excellent.

The food was really nice but the service was poor. Had to wait 40 minutes for main dishes and no more drinks offered while waiting.

Very busy had to wait for a while for our table and we were in the way as no where to sit. Food is very nice - different flavours. Lovely

Food was good and well presented, staff were friendly. Tried to go for Nepalese from the menu to try different things so didn't have a benchmark, never having Nepalese food before so don't know if it was authentic or not but was tasty

Probably our favourite 'Indian' restaurant in town (Nepalese, I know) with so many twists on standard dishes. Lively food and polite, attentive staff. Very good.

Excellent menu, food and service. Nothing better in Shrewsbury. I would recommend the Avatar to anyone and have taken a number of friends there. Try it.

Friendly tentative staff, all very smiley and happy to give their own verdict on food. Happy to alter dishes to suit milder pallets. Fast service and very efficient! Very reasonably priced.

staff very pleasent.. very nice atmosphere food well presented and tasted amazing..i had a 3 course meal for two and very happy with the final bill would definatley recomend a visit to friends

We felt everything was really efficient & the food/service excellent. Although it did not bother me at all, my partner felt the English waitresses looked out of place in Nepalese costumes.

Really nice place, very warm welcome and the food is spot on. All at a very reasonable price, I would advise anyone to try it!

The staff were very polite and attentive. The food was good and the Restaurant was clean and tidy. There was a good atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Great service and fabulous food. Very busy at 7pm and we had to wait a short time for our table but given complimentary poppodoms to compensate which was a nice touch. Will definitely go again 🙂

Excellent restaurant and service. A must if you like to try something different but also great for your 'normal curries' We make sure we eat at Avatar every time we visit Shrewsbury!

Lovely food (loved the momos), but service could have been a little faster (e.g. we needed to ask and then wait for dessert menu). Would certainly eat here again.

2nd visit was just as good and as pleasent .. would deffinatly recommend food was beautiful well presented .. and staff friendly and courtious will be visiting again
