Bringing fresh food from the street markets of Southeast Asia straight to Glasgow, Bar Soba has been winning over the hearts of Glasgow foodies since it opened in 1999, located right in the beating heart of the city only a short walk away from Glasgow Central Station. With industrial-style detailings paired with Far Eastern-inspired decor, Bar Soba’s Mitchell Lane location could easily be mistaken for backstreet hawker market, but with lots of added style. Some of the pan-Asian favourites on the menu include Singapore noodles, pad thai and the Dirty Bangkok Burger (6oz beef patties infused with chilli, lemongrass, coriander and garlic in a brioche bun with chilli mayo, shredded vegetables, chilli fries and cheese), with an exotic array of cocktails to wash it all down with. With some of Glasgow’s top electronic DJs spinning records on the evenings, Bar Soba is one of the City Centre’s hottest haunts come evening time – booking in advance is advised.
I've been to Bar Soba a few times, last night I went in for my birthday and honestly, all the staff talk to you and treat you with the up most respect and are so lovely, plus the food is AMAZING! I can tell that this is going to be a new fave of mine!
