Food was nice, all very pleasant, luckily I was with a great crowd. But the staff were not happy in their work. Very solemn faces.
Good food , however service was way too slow . Was forty to fifty minutes before getting a starter and between starter and main . People who had placed take away orders were being seen faster , than customers in restaurant . Had to ask three times before bringing second round of drinks . Also tried to over charge us in the bill for drinks we had not ordered . Very cramped tables to sit four adults around , especially when you have mains and sides , drinks etc .
We have been using this restaurant for more than twenty years. Having tried all the others in the area we always come back to this one. The banquet nights are exceptional value for money- quality food, more than generous helpings and cheap!
