Bennetts Hotel & Restaurant

Lovely food and service couldn't fault it. Used a Groupon for 2 steaks and a bottle of ine. Will return very soon can't wait. Thank you Bennetts.

We had afternoon tea and it was beautiful the food was amazing and fantastic selection. The lady working was amazing and very helpful. I Treated my Nan and my mum. They both said it was beautiful.

Only customers in, there was a party leaving, lots of noise, staff moved furniture around us, crisps stale, felt awkward, customer service, saw no one.

We went to the restaurant at Bennetts for the first time today and we loved it! The food was delicious and at a fantastic price. We will definitely be visiting again.

It was a little chilly in the restaurant so wasn't really cosy, but was one of the coldest days of the year. For us the side salads and presentation was a little dated, i.e. you don't need side salad on the plate with chips and steak ( a pot of slaw, gravy etc maybe a bit better), but the food (steak, fish etc) was really great, really, really great! Also really well priced and great friendly service too. Overall really enjoyed the meal, would go again but maybe in the summer when it's a tad warmer.

We both had the steak which was really good , down side was oven chips and frozen garden peas , had to ask for salt pepper and vinegar although some of the empty tables had these on the , the staff were very keen to impress but we felt a little rushed , we wont rush there again , sorry

Lovely meal with my husband at Bennetts at the weekend. Beautiful hot food and very attentive and friendly staff. Would like to try the afternoon tea. Will be back for sure.

Lovely meal for the money paid. Great service as well. We had a steak meal and it was very nice and reasonably priced. House wine was very nice as well.

We thought the place was lovely , but the food was not good ! We returned food as we were very disappointed with it , we will not be returning

Stayed in a twin room with my mum after a trip to Cliffords spa (less than two min walk away). Our room was charming, the staff were really friendly and the food was delicious. We would definitely come again and will be recommending to friends and family.

Had a lovely meal the staff was so friendly and I do recommend carrot and parsnip, cumin soup also the cajun chicken was really nice the only problem was I didn't have room for a pudding 🍰

Very good menu choices and tasty food cooked well. Good drinks choice with excellent friendly, helpfully service from all staff. Restaurant could have been warmer but was well dressed and comfortable. A little criticism would be the tea pot spouts.

A very quiet Sunday just before Christmas meant personal service from the waitresses. The food was good for the price but although the place looks like a restaurant, both the pricing and food quality is more that of a pub. Basically, if you want reasonably priced food in a restaurant, Bennetts isn't a bad choice, just don't expect to find any Michelin Stars on the door.

Nice restaurant. Food was pleasant enough and reasonably priced. Service was good too, although our visit coincided with a quiet time (a lunchtime just prior to Christmas). Would recommend to others.

Good food, good service, very friendly staff, would highly recommend. Had a most enjoyable evening with family. Good value for money. Will be returning in 2019

Average food, lots of unavailable choices on the menu, staff a bit fumbling and clueless. Won’t be going back, this place has the potential to be so much better.

I cannot praise Bennett's in Long Eaton enough. Everything from the welcome and service from the lovely lady through to the delicious food and drink brought to us in an efficient and and conscious manner, to the price, atmosphere and feel of the place. Rarely, if ever, have I been so impressed with an establishment. Very well done, Bennett's, the pride of Long Eaton. 5*.

Had a great time tonight. Very friendly staff. The chef came out to discuss gluten free options and basically let me build my own meal haha. Food tasted amazing and there is a great selection. I’ll definitely go back. Thank you.

Friendly service and good value, but: Sliced white bread naff with starters. Roasts swimming in gravy so Yorkshire’s getting soggy. Awful posters stuck on walls.

Lovely food and only went there because l was in the area and goggle places to eat. Will be back again soon. Very big portion

Very attentive, caring and friendly staff. Clean with modern decor throughout. Food is lovely and served with a smile. Its been a long time since i've had customer service like here. There is a carpark for your car too which is always a bonus. Definitely recommend!

Expensive main course of mussels which were of poor quality. Portion size was small for a main course. Salmon over cooked in the risotto. Very disappointing.

The staff were very helpful, friendly and prompt. Food tasty and very well presented. Atmosphere and surroundings picturesque. We managed to get a parking space at the front of the building which was beneficial with a disabled guest. I have been on previous occasions for lunch ( this time was Sunday dinner) and a private party, and have been impressed each time.

Lovely food. Nice clean and pleasant restaurant. I liked the menu. Would go back. Not many restaurants in Long Eaton ( loads of takeaways ) so this was a nice find

Fantastic friendly staff.food excellent a great atmosphere as soon as you walk in.was made very welcome in very relaxing modern surroundings would recommend to all for something a bit different.

We had booked a table for 12.30 . we were on our lunch break, I had to go and ask where our lunch was as we were still waiting at 1.20. My friend asked for a jacket potato with Tuna and cheese , however it came as jacket with cheese and beans, they took it away and said they would do a new one, it came out 2 minutes later with tuna, however when she went to scrap the tuna off to put her butter on there was bean juice underneath the tuna so they had only scrapped the beans off and not done her a new one. No one came to see if we wanted any more drinks or ask if everything was ok. Think they need more staff. The place is lovely inside and what food we had was nice but too long to wait and customer service not very good.

Menu, service, food and wine all good however there was only one other table occupied and I dislike eating in empty or nearly empty resturants.

Excellent meal. Two steaks and a bottle of OK wine for £25. Great value, quality food and good service. Will go again for a great early week experience.

No soft drinks on the menu, nobody in reception. I had a burger with no bun, as they ran out of them and the plate came with no salad, no vegetables, I had to request it and it came without any sauce. The whole was very greasy, I couldn't finish it. I thought the atmosphere would be very nice judging by the pictures but it felt weird, the music was playing in another room and the staff wasn't very present. I won't be coming back.

Really lovely atmosphere and the food was amazing. Will definitely be back! More people need to know how fab your place is. Nice large size portions

An enjoyable experience with well cooked food. Nothing was too much trouble. One was made to feel very welcome. I would thoroughly recommend Bennett’s Restaurant.

It was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised , we felt it was good value for money with good food and service , a pleasant atmosphere and a good menu.

Pleasantly surprised with my first visit to Bennetts. The atmosphere was lovely, the food delicious and Lorna our waitress was friendly and efficient without being too intrusive. I shall definitely be returning.
