Thinking about making a Biblos booking?

Since it was established in 1998, Biblos has become a fixture in Edinburgh’s drinking and dining scene, conveniently located on Chambers Street in the Old Town. By day, Biblos provides a cosy location for breakfast or lunch, with floor-to-ceiling windows making it the perfect place for some Old Town people watching whilst sipping some coffee or wine. Or, if you’re hungry, go proper Edinburgh with Biblos breakfast (bacon, sausage, fried egg, haggis, mushrooms, tomato, potato scone and beans) or tuck into a panini, salad or pasta at lunchtime.

By night, Biblos becomes one of the city’s hottest destinations for dinner, drinks and live music. On the menu you’ll find a range of international cuisine, steaks and grills, with something to suit everyone. We recommend beginning with the haggis balls, served with neeps and tatties and a whisky sauce, or the flamed chorizo, followed by some beer-battered fish and chips, peppered lemon chicken or the aubergine filled with ratatouille and couscous. With its location just across from the Old College and only a short walk from the Royal Mile, a trip to Biblos is the perfect way to round off a day sightseeing or shopping in the Scottish capital, as well as being a favourite among locals. Whether its for a business lunch, a family meal or to enjoy some live music, Biblos is a popular choice. Beat the crowds and book ahead!
