very good value and excellent food. It doesn't take credit cards which caused a bit of a problem but we shall definitely be going again
Excellent food, I had the lamb and it was delicious! Extremely friendly staff. Drinks very reasonably priced, a very informal but excellent dining experience. Thank you!
You could walk past this restaurant and not notice it Don’t! It’s a gem. Wonderful meal with very friendly staff. Had a fabulous evening at the Blue Island
Fantastic Greek restaurant! Friendly & welcoming, really good food and good value. I couldn’t finish the main dish, which is most unlike me! Will definitely be back again!
We have really enjoyed our night with you. We were a table of four and we all choose to have the Meze's what a good choose we made. Each course was superb. The girls were lovely to, even got to meet the owners. We as a foursome had a fabulous time and it made us feel like we were on holiday again We go every year to the Kefalonia and love the people and the food. WE will definetly be returning soon Thanks for a great night
We had the meze for two at £18.99 pp and found that it was just too much food, very nice but just too much so I suggest they cut the price down and shed a couple of the numerous dishes. Also our friends were vegetarian and although the proprietors did very well at feeding them very well it would have been good to see a vegetarian option, e.g. a moussaka dish. Overall an enjoyable experience as they really did try. Thanks
We came to Blue Island for our 34th Wedding Aniversary. The meal was fantastic. We both ate Meze. My wife dose not enjoy meat as much as me but the staff adjusted and brought her Gigantes instead of a meat dish. The quality and authenticity of the food was excellent. We will be back.
Authentic Greek cuisine with fantastic flavour. Friendly helpful staff. No pressure to eat quickly so the next customer can come in and enough space between the tables so you are not getting bumped all the time. Decorated in greek style.
Great evening, fab food and excellent service. The only issue was realising after we had placed our order that credit and debit cards were not accepted. It was sheer luck that the two of us in the group had enough cash to cover the meals.
Very pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. The food we had was excellent. The variety on the menu seemed very good and the waitress was more than happy to explain all the different dishes to us.
