Located right in the heart of Harrow with an array of tasty Spanish tapas dishes, live blues music and a casual vibe, Blues Tapas Bar and Restaurant is a firm favourite in this area of London. The sprawling garden area is perfect for a spot of al fresco dining in the summertime, and the Spanish dishes on the menu will only add to the experience and transport you to the Mediterranean. Some of our favourites include champinones al jerez, jamon serrano, and gambas al ajillo. To enjoy some authentic Spanish cuisine to the soundtrack of live blues music book a table at Blues Tapas Bar and Restaurant on Harrow’s High Street.
Thanks to some vibrant decor and music, an excellently-stocked bar and, of course, a great al fresco dining area, the atmosphere at Blue Tapas Bar and Restaurant is refined. In fact, by the restaurant's own admission, blues is targeted at professionals in search of a haunt fit for casual drinks and Spanish dining. And they need search no further than High Street in Harrow, a fine London suburb and, as home to Blues, certainly worth making the trip out of central London to visit.
When it comes to the food this Harrow hotspot serves tapas, of course, as well as super servings of paella and a few zingy salads, too. The wonderful thing about tapas is there are no rules, so pair some grilled chorizo with marinated anchovies, or octopus with spicy patatas bravas. The choice of true Spanish flavours is always yours. From the bar at Blues Tapas you can expect a seriously impressive cocktail list. Dark & stormy, old fashioned, or even a Singapore Sling. In true London style, here you can sit back and sip the hours away. Reserve a table at Blues Tapas Bar and Restaurant and go see what all the fuss is about.
The food was really great. All 5 guests enjoyed it. The ambience was cosy and clean. The service was superb. Friendly and attentive staff. They are polite and very accommodating. Will come back next time definitely.
Lovely little restaurant. Food was amazing. Great atmosphere.. music a little loud for my liking but would definitely returning friendly and helpful staff.. and reasonable
Great food and service as usual have been a few times now and taken many guests with me and all have enjoyed as much as me
We had such a lovely evening and the food and service was great. The only complaint is that the music is a tad loud for diners who are trying to talk. But otherwise a truly lovely restaurant in a wonderful villagey spot.
Brilliant service, food was incredible: we chose a variation of 7 dishes with cocktails. Staff were really efficient and friendly, was busy when we arrived on a Monday evening and they were happy to offer us a table without reservation. Very friendly atmosphere, I recommend the Bloody Mary cocktail made by the strawberry blonde bartender. My parents recommended this place to us - glad we tried. We'll definitely come again & recommend
The food was good when it arrived but the service was very poor. I ordered a non-alcoholic cocktail - was given an alcoholic version - took ages to rectify. We ordered the 'share' platter - asked for 2 and clarified with the waitress that it was for 2 individuals, she brought the double - we ate it not knowing it was double (small portions then!). When we queried the bill with the owner, he was very argumentative, and refused to change the bill until we said we'd give him a poor review online - it was only then that we noticed we'd been overcharged for drinks as well. Sorry, but I wouldn't recommend this restaurant - nice food but distressing experience.
We had lunch and everyone in our party of 8 loved their food. The wraps and sandwiches were generously filled and were delicious. The pizzas were juicy and full of flavour. Highly recommend this restaurant for lunch snacks.
Food is excellent and the staff are friendly. My only complaint would be the amount of time it takes to receive your food. I have seen twice now and both times we waited over half an hour. Maybe this is because the food is all freshly prepared - in which case it is worth it.
Food and cocktails were really good and sitting outside on such a warm evening was great. Service was a little bit slow considering we pre-ordered at 5pm for a booking that was at 6:15pm, we didn't receive our food until around 7pm.
We were able to choose which table we were seated at when we were brought in. The staff were polite, and never far away when we needed them. Food very nice and a great selection of tapas/paella/drinks etc. Really enjoyed it!
