About Bombay Brasserie
The streets of Bombay are thriving and fragrant. Food is everywhere and it’s some of the freshest and most lively on the planet. Birmingham’s Bombay Brasserie – nestled on Station Road in Acocks Green – aims high to capture this Indian spirit and bring it into a modern dining space with real wooden brasserie feel. And, we’re happy to report, they do a damn good job of it. The restaurant is alive with flavour yet relaxed, the chefs are knowledgeable and the menu is classic. Bombay Brasserie offers one of the best butter chickens in all of Birmingham, as well plenty more Indian tastes in the way of baltis and biryanis. It’s very popular, so do book a table in advance.

Great authentic food, service and atmosphere. Very reasonably priced for the quality. Would definately go back again as had an amazing meal at this restaurant.
First class. Having travelled around India and with a love of Mumbai I would rate this restaurant as one of the finest and most authentic in the U.K.
Atmosphere was very nice, staff were very friendly and helpful, and attentive. Food was inexpensive and very very tasty. Would we go again, most definitely, and very soon.
Hidden gem- great food, great service, great price. Will definitely be going again and telling my friends. Thank you to all the staff who were very attentive 😊
After booking a table for 5 online, I contacted the restaurant to check whether it would be acceptable to take a birthday cake to the restaurant, the gentleman I spoke to was very helpful and advised that this would not be a problem, having received great service when I phoned, I was really looking forward to an excellent evening out with my family to celebrate my birthday. On arrival we were seated promptly and our drinks arrived within a few minutes. We didn't order starters, just popadoms and main courses. After a very promising start, the evening was spoilt by the wait for the main course which was around an hour and a half. When our meals eventually arrived, I asked the waiter whether it was normal to have to wait so long, I was advised that they had had a lot of orders from Hungry House in addition to there being a large party upstairs. We all agreed that the food itself was absolutely delicious and the member of staff who I approached regarding the cake that we had bought was extremely helpful and kindly offered me a complimentary birthday drink which I declined as we had decided to leave by that point. I do feel that we were just unlucky in our experience, however, the next time we wish to enjoy the Bombay Brasserie food, we'll order via Hungry House and save ourselves the £25 that we spent on taxis and probably get our food quicker!
Staff polite and friendly, food pretty good. Service slow. Nice environment. Didn't acknowledge we had a drink in our deal so had to pay for drinks.
This is NOT part of the Bombay Brasserie chain. They use 2 microwaves in the kitchen constantly, the food was horrendous and they spilt a jug of yogurt drink down me and didn't take it off the bill even!!!
