Combining the very best of two world cuisines, Bombay Chow features unforgettable Indo-Chinese cuisine that has local foodies raving. Found on King Street in Hammersmith, close to Stamford Brook and Hammersmith underground stations, Bombay Chow offers an out-of-the-ordinary dining experience in the heart of London, just steps from the Thames. Only moments from Lyric Hammersmith and Eventim Apollo, Bombay Chow is the perfect place to dine before a fun night out on the town.
London’s Bombay Chow is influenced by the cuisine of the Hakka people, immigrants from southern China who arrived in India as early as the Qin dynasty, bringing with them not only their language, culture and traditions, but also their cuisine. At Bombay Chow – on King Street in Hammersmith – the chefs produce Indo-Chinese cuisine influenced by the Hakka people, with a few modern updates to make the cuisine extra palatable to local foodies.
At Bombay Chow, guests are treated to a wide variety of starters, mains, beverages and desserts. Begin with Indo-Chinese delights like Hakka chicken (boneless, Hakka-style chicken with chilli, soy sauce and garlic), steamed chicken wontons, or the burnt ginger fish, a fillet of crispy tilapia tossed in chilli, garlic and black pepper. Recommended mains here include the flavour-packed sapo lamb with a spicy red pepper sauce, the chicken Manchurian sizzler (served on a sizzling platter) or the delightfully vegetarian okra and potato dry red chilli stir fry. There’s so much more to discover – book ahead to snag yourself a table at Bombay Chow in London’s Hammersmith.
