Always good customer service, amazing cocktails and a good night. Staff were quick to give us our table and very friendly, nothings too much trouble
Great relaxed place, food is good and prices are reasonable. Staff are very friendly. Ideal for lunch or for a night out on the town.
we rencently went to bread and butter the food was brilliant and drink aswell we all enjoyed ourself and we will be going back fairly priced brilliant night .
Lovely cocktails. Great staff. Really friendly and helpful. Great place. Great choice of pizzas. Lovely relaxing atmosphere. Would recommend booking though as busy at weekends. Don't be put off by the lane you go down to get in.
Staff were lovely and friendly. Cocktails were amazing, could taste the alcohol in them unlike other bars. Food was great value for money, Cajun chips were so nice, better than five guys! The food came out quickly too which was great as we were both starving after work. The atmosphere was great, good music. All you're missing is a pool table and you'd be complete! Exactly the kind of place we like to have a drink and chill out. I wish we'd known about it before now, we only found out about it through 5pm.co.uk you'd never know it was there!
Good selection of beers (prices are moderate to high), food is nice (pizzas are reasonably priced, 241 on tuesdays) - they used to have more couches for seating but have now replaced this with more tables and chairs. music is not too loud, good atmosphere to sit and chill out and talk to friends. Staff are friendly and usually it doesn't take too long to get served. The layout is somewhere between a pub, a bar and a canteen, which works for me. For those that smoke (I don't), there is outside seating with roof, on the other side of a glass wall.
Great cocktails and fresh pizza. Bread and Butter offers brilliant value for money especially during the week. Staff were also very good and nothing was too much trouble for them. Will definitely visit the next time we are in Glasgow.
Staff were very helpful and friendly, quick service, food was lovely and the cocktails were spot on. I like the whole atmosphere of the place and would definitely recommend Bread and Butter
The Wowcher Party Package deal was really good value for money. It consisted of 3 large pizzas, chips, potato wedges, dough balls, 4 jugs of cocktails, 2 bottles of prosecco and 2 bottles of wine. The atmosphere was conducive to meeting up with goods friends and being able to have a conversation whilst the DJ was playing music.
Love Bread and Butter, I'm here all the time. Great value for their cocktails and they've always got some sort of deal on which is great!
Situated at the top of a lane off Buchanan Street and close to Princes Square shopping centre. Not much to look at from the outside but inside a large bar/ dining area with plenty seating. An outside smoking area is available. Good range of cocktails etc with pricing offers on certain days of the week. Service was very good .
I just love Bread and Butter, food is delish, cocktails too. And it's the friendly staff that top it all.. One of my favourite places.
Service was not good. We were shown to a small table. Which was to low to be sitting at for a meal. The table was only big enough for 2 but there was 6 stools crammed around it so it was a struggle to even sit down. Music was far too loud I had to shout to have a conversation felt like I was in a night club. The girl that showed us to the table did not inform us that we needed to go to the bar to order our food. So we sat watching 6 members of staff talking and hanging over the bar for about 20 minutes. My daughter had to ask how we ordered food. When the food arrive it wasn't great we ordered a pepperoni pizza. Which arrived with 4 bits of pepperoni on it. Would not eat here again
It felt very 'student' friendly, and nothing wrong with that, but when your sitting in school chairs, in a dimly light room, or the tables are secured to the floors in the booths that have dirty sticky chairs, it's not exactly the environment you want to take a leisurely break in! The staff are friendly enough, but didn't seem to be team work happening , and the toilets where out if order so only the disabled toilet available which had a queue and then that started to back up!
Booked for 2.30 with groupon voucher for pizza n cocktails but when we arrived they told us pizzas don't get done till 3pm so why did they take the booking ?? Had to wait for 40 mins !! The cocktails took 15 mins to arrive however we both enjoyed them. The New Yorker pizza and sweet fries were nice also.
Had a great atmosphere with great food and drinks. The venom and dark fruit slushy are a must. Our food came really quick it is limited to mostly pizza and chips but they are very good so can't complain.
I can't say enough about the staff, they were so helpful and friendly and a true asset to the place. The pizzas and cocktails were lovely and there was just a great atmosphere overall. I will definitely be back.
My friend can't have normal cheese so we had asked if she was able to give the chef her own to put on he pizza other establishments did not have a problem with this and many have used here instead if there normal cheese. The waitress was very rude when I ask about this and didn't not give an explanation just saying no we won't and handed me back my card after paying for the meal
Great Pizza 🍕 Great Cocktails 🍹Great atmosphere! Our group of 9 had a lovely night! Staff are so friendly. Definitely a great place all round. Be back real soon for a few Dirty Shirley's 👍🏻 Thanks guys! x
Fab venue. Relaxed atmosphere with welcoming staff. Would definitely recommend a visit. We were there on a voucher deal and sampled the cocktails. Very yummy. Will go back to try the food. It looked and smelled delicious
