Caminata" is one of the cosiest and welcoming restaurants & lounge bars in Balham. Part rustic farmhouse, part funky loft Caminata’s interior is quite simply fabulous with its exposed duct work, bare brick walls and comfortable furnishing. Frequently displaying original art work "Caminata" introduces established and up and coming artists to our clientele in a simple and enjoyable way. Our menu is an eclectic mix of rustic gourmet and urban cuisine combining traditional stone baked Italian pizzas with delicious pasta and salads with varied selections of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes too.

Caminata was great, staff and food are great - can't wait to return!
2nd visit in a few weeks - hugely impressed. We were extremely well looked after and had a totally enjoyable evening. I have given a very high rating for the food. It is not fine dining, rather it is authentic Italian cucina-style - and does what it does exceptionally well. Good, fresh, simple ingredients cooked with love and style.
Amazing food, good vibe, excellent gluten free options. Very impressed!
