About Chaplin's Steakhouse
Some of the best steak – nay, one of the best restaurants – in Swansea is down at The Mumbles, where chef Bianca Joce is cooking up a storm at Chaplin’s Steakhouse. Located across from Southend Gardens along Mumbles Road, Chaplin’s Steakhouse takes its decorative cues from The Tramp, its produce from local Wales suppliers, and its sense of hospitality from the heart. Don’t forget to check out the daily specials chalked up on the board, but otherwise be prepared for an a la carte dining experience to remember, from starters and gourmet, homemade 100% beef burgers, fish dishes like the Cajun baked salmon or Chaplin cod, and a huge list of steaks of every cut and style. Go for the mixed grill with rump steak, gammon steak, minted lamb cutlet and chicken breast if you’re indecisive. Book online today!

Lovely meal fresh produce and freshly cooked nice staff everyone in our group enjoyed their meals and one was gluten free and was accommadated thank you
Very nice meal with quick and friendly service! Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and our three courses were very tasty! Wiplease definitely be going back
Excellent food and service. Steak was delicious and the homemade onion rings were amazing! Would definately go there again and recommend to friends and family.
Both had a 10oz ribeye steak onion rings and tarragon sauce, best steak I've had in a very long time couldn't have asked for better.
Good staff, good food, comfortable place, reasonable prices, good wine, plenty of places for free parking at night. but onion rings a little bit OTT.
Disappointed that 7.15 on a Saturday evening they were out of both T bone steaks and our other choice King Prawn in their shells .
Food was disappointing; the ribs, the lamb and the steak were all quite fatty. Staff were friendly enough, but no atmosphere in the place. Probably won't visit again.
Best avoided on cold nights or keep your coat on. Service a bit eratic and they aren't always sure if menu items are on or not! Steaks OK when they arrive, but paying a challenge!
Terrible service ,terrible steaks , chewy, tasteless never go there again !!!!! 11 peas , lettuce was limp , all in all very disappointing. The only thing that I enjoyed was the homed chips!!!!
Worst dining experience ever!!!! Waited forever only to be served undercooked chips and cold jacket potato!! All in all this took 2 hours!! Avoid this restaurant there are far better in mumbles!!!!!!!
Restaurant decided to close as quiet, they did offer to open for us when we got there however they should have called us beforehand to inform us !
