Staff here were very pleasant and the restaurant was small, quaint and friendly. A pleasant evening with nice food and good service.

For a restaurant to still be running after 37 years says enough on its own! We have been visiting this restaurant for the past 34 years with never a bad meal or bottle of wine. The food is great as is the service. Even during lockdown the owners have carried with what they have done over the years with no drop off in the quality of food and service

It's always great to go to Chez TonTon. Les Patrons and all members of staff we encountered were friendly and ran the place with a great deal of Humour. They certainly made my birthday fun. It goes without saying that the food is always delicious and attractively served. With all the fairy lights outside the restaurant, it looked like Christmas even though the restaurant on November 3rd has not put any decorations up on the inside yet. I've been before and I'll go again. Chris Maton

This is a gem of a restaurant. It's like dining in Paris without leaving Barnet! The couple who run it are charming as well as efficient. As a non-red meat eater my menu choices were limited but everything was delicious and if you do eat red meat you're in for even more of a treat!

A very enjoyable evening. Delicious food as we have come to expect from this lovely French restaurant. The staff were obviously suffering from the heat but this didn’t detract from a great meal. In fact it added to the atmosphere!
