Chiquito Watford knows a thing or two about Tex-Mex food because it’s part of the biggest and most loved group of Tex-Mex restaurants in the UK. Chiquito has been making mouths water for over 25 years thanks to a signature jambalaya that knocks your socks off with flavour, tender steak fajitas that people can’t get enough of and street food classics like tacos and mini burritos. You’ll find Chiquito Watford in Woodside Leisure Park, not far from Hollywood Bowl Watford, and these days you can get involved for brunch, lunch or dinner, with Chiquito also showing off an additional gluten-free menu as well as one for the kids. Chiquito margaritas are kind of a big deal, too, which is what makes it fit for a few casual drinks as well as for a proper Tex-Mex fill with the family. If you’re visiting Chiquito Watford at the weekend then a reservation is a good idea.
Booked for Sunday brunch 11.30am (brunch finishes at noon). We were excited to try the recommended cocktails with brunch, only to be told we could not order a cocktail until after 12 noon due to their licensing restrictions. Brunch finishes at noon but brunch cocktails could not be served before noon. Yet both on the brunch menu.

Ate on Saturday night after seeing film at nearby Vue cinema. Best to book a table on Saturday night. Good choice of food with veggie options. Prompt service. Tasty food. Can heartily recommend the churros for dessert.
