good value for money, wonderful, friendly waitress - would go back again. Portions very generous, lovely atmosphere. Venue could do with a bit of a make-over, although did not put us off
Really good Indian food! Tandoori dishes were brilliant The starter needs improvement , especially the seafood one, The service is a bit slow I would come again
This place has the best Indian food we hado tasted anywhere for a very long time ! We have been back twice now! And will be going back again. staff we nice and friendly and helpful if you needed anything - above all though the flavours of the food are amazing and colourful! Highly recommended for location and flavour
Second visit on a rainy evening. Great deal - 3 courses of an Indian meal and wine for £15. Not the finest of cuisine, but generous portions of food, with little oil used
Attached to a pub. We went on a Sunday lunchtime and it was a relaxed quiet atmosphere Very good offer with a voucher - 3 course meal with wine for 2 at £15 (total!) Generous portions Attentive waitress/bar maid Reasonable quality of Indian food, where care had been taken not to use too much oil
Not easy to find (hidden away on frost floor of a bar. Not a 5 star place by any means. It pooks more like a pub converted into a restaurant. The food was good, and the waiter friendly.
The resturant is being refurbished so we were sat in a dirty pub downstairs. The food wasn't bad but the atmosphere and general smell of the pub wasn't great. Toilets were really gross. Waitress/ barmaid was lovely and for £8 each you can't really complain. Would'nt reccomend it though.
Waited 1hr and 15mins between our starter and main. When it arrived it wasn't that warm, like it's been sat there and they'd just forgot to bring it to us. We were supposed to have a dessert but it never arrived so we just left. I wouldn't have minded if they were massively busy but they weren't , especially not when we arrived. At about 6;45, still awaiting our dessert, they were starting to get busy but this is when we left, we'd been there since 4:30
Food very good. But venue awful. Needs urgent renovation. I bought a Wowcher deal that was great value. But disappointed with pub when entered. Staff service was excellent.
Tasty, well cooked food however, room shabby! The entertainment provided by a group of drunken female "cockney sparrows" singing finished of a unmemorable Indian experience.
