The Corner Grill House

The young lady serving was very pleasant, the atmosphere was quiet as it’s only a small restaurant but it was lovely. The food was also lovely.

Warm and friendly service, lovely food, comfortable atmosphere. Would certainly go again.

Visited the Corner Grill House for my 60th birthday and had a fantastic meal. The food was delicious and the service was excellent - great experience all round.

Great food, great service, what more can you ask for?

Excellent service and excellent, tasty food and drink which the whole party enjoyed. If I had to make one suggestion it would be to offer a larger fillet steak in addition to the one supplied. I had the fillet steak and thoroughly enjoyed it, however the 5oz portion was very small, if an 8oz or 10oz fillet had been available I personally would have been prepared to pay the extra.

Had a lovely meal, reasonably priced too. Special mention has to go to the waitress, note to the owner she is a real gem you don’t want to let her go . Amazing service

This is a small place with a fairly short menu but a great deal of love and care had gone into everything. The food was really delicious and beautifully presented and the service couldn't be faulted. We'll definitely be back, if we can get a table! Book ahead if you can.

Would go back, but order from the main menu. Had the “set”menu, but portions seemed to be smaller, which I can only assume was because they needed to bring it in at a certain price .

Really disappointed to be honest. Had saved myself for it. But came away unsated . Food was unremarkable. Very ordinary pate. Tiny portion of steak which was at best tepid. I’m being kind. It was cold. whereas the 8 chips were straight out the fryer hot. Half a tomato and a few mushrooms. Sticky toffee pudding was bland and no sauce. Underwhelmed I’m afraid. Slow service.
