Lovely food and great service. I love the fact it’s so intimate and friendly. We didn’t feel like we had to rush either and spent the whole evening chatting and eating great food. We’ll be back!

Always a lovely experience here. We all ate off the set menu. Plenty to choose from. Only one of our party managed a pudding. It was our friends first visit and we are all ready planning to re- visit soon.

Compliments to the chef. Best hand cut chips ever! A very small restaurant but this ensures great service.

The waitress, Veronica was very friendly and efficient and the food was excellent, we had a wonderful evening at a reasonable price.

Came here for our 25th Anniversary. We wanted somewhere that was not to big and a bit unique. Food was fantastic and service brilliant. Could not fault and would certainly recommend.

Lovely little restaurant, great food, great service, no complaints to speak of.

This was our second visit to the Corner House Grill and once again it was awesome. It is a very small restaurant and may feel a little cramped to some people but I personally like this as it makes for a great atmoshere . My wife and I had the set menu and everything was great with quality ingredients . My only criticism was that my spicy king prawn starter was a little bit too spicy for my taste. You have to try the creamed leeks as they really are incredible! Service was really friendly and attentive - thanks Redak We will definatley return the next time we are in York.

I can't fault this place. It was utter perfection from the atmosphere, to the service, and the food! A must-go for when you're in York. You're missing out if you don't give this place a visit.
