More about Côte Bishop's Stortford, Bishop's Stortford

Champions of all-day dining, Côte Brasserie in Bishop’s Stortford town centre offers a menu of authentic French dishes whether at breakfast, lunch or dinner. Inspired by the brasseries of Paris, Côte Brasserie’s interior is classically French with brasserie-style furniture and ceiling-to-floor windows, and on a sunny day, the outdoor terrace area is the perfect place to unwind with a cocktail or glass of champagne. From croque monsieur to the crêpe complète (a warm crêpe with two free range eggs, bacon and shaved Gruyère cheese), Côte Brasserie’s breakfast menu will have you excited to get out of bed in the morning.

In the evening, we recommend beginning with some prawn gratinée (king prawns in a white wine, garlic, chilli and tomato sauce with toasted garlic and parsley croutons), before tucking into some traditional beef Bourguignon or the pan-roasted pork belly with gratin potato, braised Savoy cabbage, apples, thyme and a calvados jus. Round it all off with some of Côte’s speciality crème caramel – délicieux! Located on North Street in the town centre, Côte Brasserie is the go-to place for French classics in Bishop’s Stortford. Great place to go for a quick, informal meal. The staff are very friendly and attentive without being annoying. The menu is not extensive but decent food and reasonably priced.
