Or, for an evening affair, begin with the classic steak tartare, a traditional French onion soup, or a creamy chicken liver parfait with spiced apple chutney. Follow any of those with the pan roasted haddock wrapped in French bacon, the rump of lamb, or our personal favourite, Steak frites, then pair with one of Côte’s regional French wines as recommended by the talented team on standby. Take our word for it and pop into this Chelmsford city centre gem – you’ll thank us when you do.
Friendly, helpful and very welcoming staff. It was my birthday and they helped make it a very special evening. Lovely food, good choices. Will definitely go there again.
What a wonderful evening - my birthday and my normal table booked by Lucas and then a wonderful card from all and signed by them all the staff - with Laura and Viny and then at the end a Happy Birthday sung at my table - all quite unexpected but wonderful Thank you to all the team
Good French good in calm and friendly surroundings. The October pork loin special is better than comparable dish I’ve had in Paris. I just hope it will move to the regular menu!
