Good food good environment, staff helpful and polite but serious delays in getting served between courses not sure why as the restaurant was not busy
The early evening menu was delicious:- Langustine tails, Seafood linguine, Creme caramel and for my husband Steak frites and crumble au peche!! Excellent service as always.
Excellent service provided through out. Making sure everything ok without the feeling if be hassled. Affordable for all wallets yet amazing food. Will continue to dine here.
Excellent Cote Brasserie - been to a few of these and we're never disappointed. Lovely Steak and Frites and Chicken with creamy potatoes. Always great service too!
Waiting staff not up to usual standard. Waited a long time to be offered aperitif before ordering food. Waiting staff not attentive. Plates only cleared as next course arrived. One diner at our table expected to hand plates to waitress! Starters were excellent as was the wine.. Waiting staff never enquired how meal was. Steak was chewy even though cooked rare. We are regular diners at this restaurant and others in the chain and this was below standard we have previously received.
Food was well cooked. The service was excellent and the help given by the assistant manager and other staff was more than would normally be expected. Yet again an excellent visit.
Booked a table for my finance and I here and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. It wasn't like any of its neighbouring chain restaurants in the complex where it's located. I had the charcuterie board as my starter which was extremely tasty , my fiance had asparagus with hollanaise sauce and the asparagus was cooked perfectly. For mains I had the duck breast in a cherry sauce which was beautifully tasty and succulent and my fiance had the pork belly which was divine. Desserts we had chocolate mousse and creme brulee and they were the perfect end to our meal. We will definitely be back
Fantastic food. Great atmosphere. Nice, friendly staff. The creme caramel is to die for!! I would highly recommend. It's the best Cote I have been to!
Excellent meal with good service. Duck was particularly good and chocolate moose superb. Was very busy so service only rated good as had to ask for cutlery and remind waiter about olives we ordered.
Very disappointing meal tonight, poor, slow service and overlooked food. Not the usual standards we have come to expect from cote. Not busy either so no excuse.
Cannot fault Cote Brasserie Dorchester. Not a bad word to say. Staff, food and atmosphere are always spot on! The restaurant is clean, fresh food and great value for money!
Short notice booking and had another very enjoyable dinner at Cote Dorchester. I can't resist the dark chocolate pot! Friendly and attentive service and good atmosphere.
Great service and wide range of choices. Food was well prepared and would happily return in future. Only issue is that service charge should not be automatically added to bill, even if optional.
As always excellent service and friendly staff. Very enjoyable cod from the July specials menu, breast of duck very good and the creme caramel was excellent as always
The early evening menu was excellent value and good service as well. It had much ambiance and we felt that we had had value for money except fir the price if the drinks which we thought were extortionate.
Lovely food and very pleasant staff. Comfortable seating in a restaurant with a good ambience and a nice outlook. I would recommend this restaurant for good quality food at a reasonable price.
Efficient and pleasant service. The usual good quality food. Value for money at reasonable prices. Pleasant surroundings. Acoustics well thought out - restaurant busy but could hear what companions were saying
As always, in Dorchester, quick, friendly service, food good and wines drinkable. It is a light , clean and pleasantly decorated restaurant, with a good outside terrace, near to the station and town centre.
The food great but it the extra change at the end on top of the bill but you do not get ask if you what to pay it they just take it
Pleasant setting, super service. Reasonable value. Good menu and child friendly. On arrival good reception. Clean and ready for service! Lots of competition in surrounding area that helps to improve service.
Good Service , Good Food and a relaxing atmosphere! We visited for our anniversary and had a very enjoyable evening. I'm sure we will visit again soon!
Good atmosphere, excellent staff who worked really hard as the restaurant was bursting with customers. Food good and as regular customers is always of consistent standard. Creme brûlée excellent, no,superb.
Excellent evening staff good food v good great atmosphere. Very good menu we had a guest who was gluten free he was impressed with his own menu great choice
This was our first visit to Côte Brasserie in Dorchester but it certainly won't be our last. The menu was extensive but not overwhelming; the service was attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. This, together with a vibrant buzz in the restaurant made for a really lovely evening. Would thoroughly recommmend it.
Good food, good service and nice atmosphere. Couldn't fault it. My only issue is the 12% service charge but they don't quibble when you change it.
Very good burger, but salad garnish left off one order. Steak overcooked but tasted fine. Wrong dessert delivered, so they replaced it promptly and didn't charge for it. Overall very happy with food and service.
Great staff & really good food (especially after having spent 2 weeks eating well in France) but, very noisy in this branch. We really had to raise our voices to hear each other, strange acoustics? Would definitely return but, with a view to eating outside.
Prompt and attentive service and food generally good, but garlic bread was not available and vegetarian sausage main course was disappointing. The deserts were excellent!
Good menu and lots of choices. Eaten there twice now and not been disappointed. The food tastes great - I had the minute steak and 'frites' and the crème brulee which was scrummy. Highly recommend
first time we have visited a cote brasserie the service was very good, a great menu /wine list. would recommend , looking forward to the Bournemouth one in westover road .?
Best meal we've had in ages. Good menu, excellent service, tasty food and all served very promptly. Ideal for a good meal before going to the cinema.
Excellent as always. Service and food completely up to expectations. We like how the menu is changed frequently and uses seasonal ingredients to ring the changes
Good food and great value. Although we had no cutlery at the beginning this was soon rectified. The early bird menu is great value and the ambiance of the restaurant meant we had a lovely evening.
This food was fine, the restaurant seemed a bit understaffed and quite a few tables needed clearing. Nice to be able to sit outside viewing the fountain.
Nice meal, but restaurant was quite busy, service not as attentive as would have liked. There appeared to be an issue that two of the staff had with each other which was not hidden well.
Plenty of choice from the menu, to suit all tastes. Food was tasty and well presented. Service was informal, but extremely efficient. Would certainly visit again.
A very nice lunch as usual, very good value and nicely presented. Staff efficient, if there was a small criticism it is difficult to here conversation as there are no soft furnishings to absorb the noise. But overall good.
Good service, good food, very enjoyable lunch in pleasant surroundings.not pressured for time. Menu is not over extensive but is comprehensive and should be sufficient for most people.
A lovely experience overall, but disappointed in some aspects of the service. I had to ask for the gluten free menu even though I could see it was written on my reservation. Same with the free kir royales. We had to wait for someone to come over and take our drinks order to ask for them. The waiter did not use the napkin to catch the drips from the ice bucket when pouring our wine and one of the party had a wet lap. At the end, the girl dealing with the bill and taking our payments was abrupt and clearly was tired and wanted to go home. Not the usual experience I enjoy when coming to cotes. Food was lovely though
We had breakfast at the Cote. It was great. Service was good and of course the food was good .It was very cosy on a very wet day.
