Great value for money and good food always consistent. Have eaten at different branches of Cote and they have all been consistent with food and service
Fantastic local eatery. Excellent level of service and plenty on the menu to choose for different tastes, for any time of the day. Many thanks Cote
Côte is amazing as always. Great service, great food. Worth every penny! It will always be our favourite place for celebration different occasions and for a quiet night out.
Excellent Food and service with friendly staff, good ambience and reasonable prices. We've been to a few different branches of Cote and they are very reliable. It's a chain of course, but doesn't feel like one.
It is always a pleasure to eat at Côte Brasserie - Esher. The food is excellent and of a high quality and the service is friendly and accommodating. My 92 year old mother loves going there and it makes the experience a pleasure to be welcomed so warmly and served with so much care.
We have been going to Cote, Esher for many years. We have come to know some members of the staff quite well and we had always enjoyed our visits. However, on Sat 17.03.2018, we were very disappointed both with the service and the food. We were met by a young, un-smiling, inexperienced waitress [possibly Eastern European] who then showed the same demeanor throughout our stay - it was as if she was blankly following the script but had no personal interest or emotion to put into it. Keeping customers at arms-length doesn't work for restaurant service! It was snowing outside and although disappointed by the cool atmosphere, we were looking forward to the warming Breton Fish Stew that we had enjoyed many times in the past. This time however, it was watery with fewer ingredients but more potato and more bread - not at all the Fish Stew we had come to know. We like the Cote brand but they appear to be cutting corners both on quality of staff and quality of food. In our view, these are the two most important qualities of a good restaurant and the experience was an overall serious disappointment. Not sure if we will go again.
A very warm welcome awaited us at Côte. We were offered a choice of tables and drinks orders were taken promptly. Our waitress coukd not have been more pleasant or helpful. Service was superb throughout. The pace was also well judged and the food was good. One of our party dI'd find the duck a bit tough but I was very impressed how this was dealt with by the restaurant. As soon as he mentioned it on presentation of the bill, the member of staff was apologetic and offered a discount. These things can happen and if dealt with like that one cannot complain. I am looking forward to visiting the restaurant again soon.
When we arrived at the restaurant, we felt welcomed. We were directed to a comfortable corner, after choosing the dishes we wanted to eat, a young lady with a lovely smile, took our order and soon after we were eating the first course, we didn't have to wait long to have the second course, which was delicieux, then we chose to have the all round favorite: 'Apple crumble with ice cream! We had a delicious meal in a pleasant athmosphere. We certainly will come again!
We are regulars at Cote Esher and are always welcomed by all members of the staff and especially Cameron - the Manager who finds the time to speak to us. Waitresses Beatrice and Martina are especially friendly and provide excellent service in an efficient manner. Most of the staff have been at the Esher Branch for some time including the Chef and you can always depend on consistent delivery and quality of food. It's the best Cote in the area.
We had a nice lunch; we all chose the chicken salad. The menu used to have a lovely chicken breast with potatoes but they have been replaced by white beans. I opted for my favourite frozen berries with white chocolate sauce while my friends chose the peach crumble with ice cream. None of us had either alcohol or coffee, just water. My only gripe was the loud voices of the waiting staff while they discussed stuff at the till near to our table. We did not want to say anything to them. Good value.
