Excellent food, very professional, unrushed service and good value for money. The only negative is the poor acoustics making it a little too noisy to hear staff and your fellow diners. Might not do a busy Friday/Saturday evening again, but wouldn't hesitate to visit at quieter times.

If I'm going on somewhere else after dinner I usually allow extra time, this was needed last night as it was fairly busy. However the service once started was efficient with no problems.

Fantastic food and service , would recommend the fish stew and charcuterie board. House white wine and Kir Royal. My husband had the pork belly and lemon tart.

Lovely food and great service. Moules were delicious as was the ice-cream with hot chocolate sauce. Reasonably priced. 12% service charge added automatically which I think is cheeky. On this occasion I would have tipped around that anyway but I prefer to decide based on service received. I hope the waiting staff receive the tips when it is done this way (I prefer to tip in cash for that reason)

All the food was so delicious and the waitress was lovely! The Roast Duck was mouthwatering and the Tarte au Cirton was the best I've tasted in a restaurant.

Went here for breakfast. Food and service was excellent! The £9.95 hot breakfast with a cold and hot drink deal is amazing value for money and I couldn't fault the food. Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful, even making me an iced coffee although it wasn't on the menu. We will be back!

Good food and service. Atmosphere good if a little noisy ( it was Saturday night!) for us older folks. We recommend it for a night out.

Really nice decor, friendly and efficient staff. Lovely bottle of Sancerre (a bit expensive but it was worth it). Food hot and tasty. Portion size excellent for me but some people might find the portions a bit on the small side. Extensive menu. Would recommend and would definitely go again. Ideal location if you are going to the Cineworld cinema as it is a 2 minute walk. A nice addition to the excellent selection of restaurants at Gloucester Quays.

I was welcomed on entrance offered a choice of seats, I chose a booth which was perfect. Food was delicious, all 4 of our party could not fault it. I was brought the wrong sweet and charged for a more expensive one but a minor detail I guess. Been to three different Cote restaurants and you do keep a theme and standard.

Good menu choices and food excellent. One member of our party ordered the veal - a large piece of veal arrived in a jus with a sprinkling of watercress on top - no vegetable, no potatoes, and very expensive. That was disappointing but the rest of our meals were lovely.

Service was poor, ordered sparkling wine. This Was left On the table for us to open and pour. No one checked if it was the correct bottle that we ordered. Plates were not cleared away before main arrived. Once arrived they were still Left on the table. Main meal was highly seasoned and also came well Done when requested pink. So sent back. Asked for tap Water, several Times took 20 mins for this to Arrive. Once good was re ordered it tasted lovely, just shame about the service

The restaurant was immaculately clean and tidy, staff were very helpful and attentive. Never had breakfast with you before but will most certainly come back for another in the very near future. Location of new Gloucester Cote makes it very difficult as to whether to go to Cheltenham or Gloucester - both excellent.

My partner requested a blackcurrant and lemonade but you did not stock any blackcurrant but the waitress charged for the black currant and lemonade instead of the Diet Coke she ended up with....,which was lower in price....excellent customer service

Lovely food, a little salty and my partner found that the half chicken didn't come with enough sauce (despite paying extra for it). We went for our anniversary meal and booked well in advance, but were placed right by the door which was cold, unatmospheric and I felt like I was constantly in the way. Shame considering it was for a special occasion. The staff were friendly for the most part.

Food was very good. Probably the best creme caramel I've ever had. Service was attentive and helpful but a let down a little by a couple of things. Oil and balsamic wasn't on hand for example when the bread arrived and by the time the waitress had found some the bread was nearly all gone. I'm never keen on imposed gratuities and whilst the bill said it was optional the fact that it's on there always grates me. I didn't want to create a fuss in the company I was with however so let it go.

Cote is very Authentic French cuisine and never fails to deliver. You can tell the staff are new but was expected Be aware of the optional service charge automatically added to your bill, we thought it a bit much at 12.5%.

Excellent service, waitress was very attentive and the food was as always excellent. We have tried a few Cote Brasserie resturants and always found the food to be excellent and each resturant to have a lovely ambience.

A friend and I ate at 6:30pm on a busy Friday eve. The service was efficiant and friendly and the food was hot and tasty. The free caraffe of fresh water was a nice touch and the quality white linen napkins were also a great idea. I would deffinately reccomend it to anybody who enjoys excellant food and good service

Wife and son for a late Sunday lunch. Starters arrived fine. Mains for myself and son arrived, but wife informed hers would be 5 mins late. 15 mins later, wife informed chef had burnt and is re-doing. 15 mins after that, a fish dish arrived (wife is vegetarian), sent back and informed not to bother. Many staff standing around doing nothing. Would NOT return

The best food we have had in chain restaurant. The menu was varied and inviting. The service was quick and friendly. The only reason this is not a maximum is because the acoustics made it difficult to hear each other over the general noise of other diners on a busy Saturday night. Hope a Cote Brasserie is opened near Maidstone soon

Very disappointing. My sister and I were taking my mum out for her birthday but the service was very poor. Waited ages for plates to be taken away despite at least four staff milling around and our waitress even looked over at our table then promptly went off and did something else. My mum's dessert had to go back as it wasn't set and looked curdled. It was replaced and that was fine but we were still charged for it. When I asked for the bill we waited a long time but the waitress who we asked disappeared to the other side of the restaurant and obviously wasn't getting our bill. Another waitress finally came over to us and I said we had asked for the bill but hadn't got it. Of all the staff she was the most efficient as she went and got our bill immediately and even apologised for the wait. It doesn't matter how good the food is when eating out because if the service is lacking it does ruin the occasion. Won't hurry back there.

The staff were great service very good despite the restaurant being very busy the food was excellent I only have one small moan the tables in the area we were sat are very very close together which I understand because it's not the biggest place but you almost feel like your sat with someone you don't know
