The service was excellent. The staff were polite and friendly at all times. The food was excellent too. I normally don’t have dessert but the frozen berries with white chocolate sauce were delicious.
The pork belly and calamares were both excellent! Always find attentive service and good food at Cote, whichever the branch. Also love their duck breast...delicious.
Excellent evening. Good service and a great selection of food for everyone. Well cooked and reasonably priced. Always feels five stars without the need for a five star price tag
As usual, both the food and service were excellent. The set lunch offers tremendous value for money. Our waitress and the other staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Thanks for an outstanding lunch!
I am a regular at Cote Hampstead (I live in Paris - but come back once a month for a week - and always go for at least 1 meal). I really like their food and the atmosphere. Also I like the idea of rewarding fidelity with offers from time to time.. I feel that separates the 'one timer' from the people who visit on a fairly regular basis. All was lovely this time as ever, except for our waiter who not only was not aware of the offers - but had - and I'm not exaggerating - 5 large food splashes on his shirt and hadn't thought to change it!!!??? (This was at lunch - imagine what it looked like by the dinner service!?!?!?!). Still a great place to go - just watch out for how your staff look when they come to the table!
Want to say a very Thank you to the staff and manager for making my brothers birthday. ( birthday breakfast ) very special. Very impressed by the way they took the booking at last min and was able to give us a table by the window as I requested. They even made it special by wishing him a happy birthday with a little cake which I did not request but was given to my brother. Very kind gesture and was a lovely touch by the staff and manager. Please Thank them from me. Will definitely be back. Xx
I have never had anything other than a lovely evening at any of the COTE restaurants that I visit. regularly. Last night was no exception, the food was very good and my friend and I were warmly greeted and made to feel very welcome by an extremely competent staff. There was nothing to fault, hence my rating of '6'. If I have a choice of restaurant when going out with friends, I always choose a 'COTE' - best value in London !!
The food was good. The staff are excellent. I noticed I saw a lot of people who used to go to another Restaurant I went to. I know they were at Côte. Because the other place just went down and the prices went going up they used to be good but isn't good any more. So Cote take note as Hampstead is like a Village and if a Restaurant is or is not good any more we will all know and the word goes round quickly. So keep your Restaurant good.
We really enjoyed our visit to Cote in Hampstead. We were seated immediately we arrived, and we received our first course within ten minutes of ordering. The menu selection is well chosen. We both started with the pea and mint soup, delicious! The service was efficient and friendly, and when we left the bill was presented quickly without the long wait that happens in many restaurants when you want to pay and go.
pleasant ambience . the food is ok. tuna requested medium /well done arrived well done. salad leaves are not inspected closely before put on the plate which makes for a not totally appetising salad. filtered water jug was put on table where it created a pool of water around it. the second jug arrived filled to the very top - impossible to pour without it going all over the table. service is friendly and willing diners to enjoy the experience but perhaps need more serving staff training.
