This was my first visit, and I chose Cote Brasserie after reading reviews on line. I was looking for a place to have brunch before going on to Plumpton races with my husband, sister and brother. We all chose something different from the menu and we all were delighted with our food. The variety of cooked breakfast is excellent and you also get juice and a hot drink of your choice with it for under £11. The restaurant is very nicely laid out , and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The staff members were all very welcoming and friendly and I will definitely be returning and recommending to my friends and family.
We had a great breakfast- 13 of us on Easter Sunday. Very competent and friendly staff. All the food was served promptly and really well cooked. Clean plates all round! Thanks to Zoltan and the team for accommodating us all. Would thoroughly recommend.

It’s no secret that Côte Brasserie serves great French food, that’s why the people of Lewes are so ecstatic about the newly opened location on the High Street. There’s a reason why this family of restaurants has become so popular, and it begins with the ingredients used in the kitchen. Fresh, seasonal produce, artisan meats and cheese and time-honoured traditional recipes combine to create a masterpiece of flavours. For a slow breakfast, quick lunch or a romantic evening out, Côte Brasserie is a must-visit in Lewes town centre.
Let’s take a look at what Côte Brasserie in the town centre has to offer. If it’s dinnertime, you’ll surely want to begin with one of the restaurant’s starters – we can highly recommend their gourmet charcuterie board – or a bowl of soupe de poisson. Next, try one of Côte Brasserie’s specialities like the Breton fish stew, or dig into plats rapides like steak frites or poulet grillé. There’s much more where that came from. Côte Brasserie even offers a fully gluten-free menu, options for children and a separate vegetarian menu, so don’t hesitate to stop by if you have particular dietary restrictions or allergies. French-food fanatic or not, this Lewes restaurant is sure to impress. Beat the crowd by reserving a table ahead of time.
