“Dedication to service, quality of ingredients and sound cooking”
– Marina O’Laughlin, London MetroFrench food on the mind? Of course, of course. Take it from us that by far the nicest way to get French food in the stomach is at Côte Brasserie, specialists in authentic French flavours and feels. It’s likely you’ve heard of Côte, and this restaurant around Parsons Green in London will deliver everything that has made Côte such an institution. You can find it on Parsons Green Lane, blended perfectly with the quaint cobbles and townhouses of this part of the capital. Côte is simple, it’s delicious, and the food here won’t break the bank. Wins all around, we’re sure you’ll agree.
Morning or evening, dinner or drinks, when in Parsons Green, it’s difficult to look past Côte Brasserie as the first choice spot. Why? Well, a more appropriate question would be why not? At this Côte Brasserie restaurant on London’s Parsons Green Lane, all things French and flavourful are served up simply, and it’s difficult to overstate what a pleasant dining experience comes as the result. This restaurant is a short walk from Parsons Green station and perfectly placed as a pre- or post-perusal pit stop if you’re out doing a spot of shopping.
London isn’t short of places to eat French food, but no other restaurant even comes close to Côte in terms of the calibre of food and service received for your pound. This, we suspect, is why the place is so popular. Modern and all-day dining is championed here, and from the menu it’s safe to expect authentic flavours and fresh produce. Try Côte’s warm beetroot salad or tuna niçoise for a light main, or for a larger fill opt for roasted pork belly or a wonderfully traditional serving of steak frites. London, Parsons Green, indeed the whole of the UK – all are pleased to have Côte Brasserie as their go to for French dining.
My husband and I are regulars and we think this is one of the best Cotes inLondon; food is exceptional and the staff could not be friendlier or more helpful.
Great service and very good ambience, easy location. We had a delicious very reasonably priced meal and all ordered off the 'offer' menu and will return.. Excellent!
Had a very pleasant evening. Food has been nicer but I still finished my meal!
Much improved and the cooking and service was excellent. The new team are doing a good job and so will be very successful in the future
We love Côte. It is always good value, and always delivers what it says on the menu.... BUT, not this time. We had the 3 course set lunch ...starter and mains were good. However the Apple crumble was cold. Worse still the waitress upon hearing my complaint proceeded to tell me that a) no one had ever complained before, b) that my partners crumble had been ok (it wasn’t, she just doesn’t like complains). The waitress did replace the crumble with another. But this too was cold in the centre. I did not want to complain again and spoil a nice lunch so I ate it. Upon telling the waitress this at the end she again resisted my explanation with a series of “counter arguments”... but nevertheless she did happily take the cost off the bill. My point is simply this: 1. This type of restaurant depends on “repeatable process”. They must amend the process that uses cast iron pots to serve hot deserts. There is no way the desert can be heated throughout correctly- as so amply proven by my experience. 2. The chef should use a thermometer. 3. The waitress must learn not to argue, however tempting, especially when a customer is being nice and reasonable. I will definitely eat at Côte again. They are an excellent chain of restaurants.
Because it was such a glorious day Cote at Parsons Green was not it's usual very busy restaurant self, The 4 of us, lunch there most Sundays all had the lamb chops & gratin potatoes. The chops were quite large & slightly tough but were well cooked & seasoned with attractive presentation. Perhaps due to the very slow business service was not as good as usual . We are very regular customers & like Cote Parsons Green very much which feels like our home from home. We feel that Cote offers exellent value for money with attractive food. Long may they continue!
The usual very pleasant experience. Today we hosted guests from Madrid and Mexico City, who very much enjoyed their experience with us. Your formula is excellent. As locals we enjoy your mid week arrangements pre 7.00 pm although today we all chose from your full menu. Your staff are well trained, courteous and a pleasure to be served by. In particular I would pick out Patricia, who is charming and also served my large family party last Sat 13 Jan, as well as Cacia (?Spelling) your newly promoted supervisor. Well done all round.
An extremely pleasant evening - delicious food accompanied by good quaffable wine . The service charge system is still not good - if one wants to give more than what is the worked out rate , the waiter has to go back to the till to insert different no’s , which as they say at busy times they are unable to do . They find it a chore , which it should not be. Having raised this problem months ago , it is no better which is unacceptable .
A very busy Sunday lunch at Cote Parsons Green, with many young & small children, Presentation of food was good, production rather slow presumably down to the level of business, which was the reason for my swordfish being not hot enough. Also the fish lacked seasoning. These small problems were very graciously corrected by the Mgr. The staff were as usual friendly & helpful & worked very well. We are great fans of Cote & think you do a great job.
The staff at Parsons Green Cote were aware that we had celebrated our wedding anniversary at Cote Barbican the day before (where we had been given special treatment). The manageress at Parsons Green is delightful, smiley and happy, and she really spoilt us. Every time we go to a Cote we think it is just a bit more than just an other restaurant.
