... all the elegance, informality and buzz of a classic Parisian bistro”
– Good Food GuideFor Francophiles and foodies in Reigate, Côte Brasserie is the place to go for a great French meal. Since 2007, this family of French restaurants has made its mark up and down the UK with reasonably priced brasserie-style dishes and great service. As one of the most charming Côte Brasserie outlets, the Reigate location is situated in a classic brick building on Bell Street, not far from the castle grounds, Reigate Caves and the town centre. It consistently attracts folks from all over Surrey for a top draw dining experience, so bring along the entire family for a taste of unpretentious French cuisine.
One reason Côte Brasserie stays on the culinary cutting edge is the restaurant’s accessibility. Offering up brasserie-style French dishes that could just as well have been cooked in a Parisian kitchen rather than in Reigate, the food on offer is unpretentious and affordable. The restaurant’s interior skirts the line between sophisticated and casual, making it ideal for nearly any dining occasion whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner. Best of all, Côte is open seven days a week from early until late, so you can stop in whenever that hankering for great French food strikes.
Start your experience at Côte Brasserie by perusing the lengthy drinks menu, then order yourself a starter of French onion soup, warm roquefort salad, or a charcuterie board. Now comes the hard part: choosing the main course. There’s plenty to experience, ranging from roasted pork belly with thyme and calvados jus, Breton fish stew, pan-roasted haddock wrapped in French bacon or any of the plate rapides including steak frites, duck confit or Cod Goujons. And don’t forget dessert – try the chocolate mousse or tarte au citron for a sweet finish. Book now to hold your table at Côte Brasseries’ Reigate location.
Another enjoyable visit to Cote Brasserie in Reigate. As always, the service was good & the food excellent. For starters, 2 of us had the parsnip soup and 1 had the Roquefort salad; mains, 2 had the steak and frites with a tomato side salad and I had the sea bream ...as I don't like ratatouille, I had it with savoy cabbage and glazed carrots; desserts were 2 creme caramels and a creme brulee. We enjoyed every mouthful and would thoroughly recommend all our dishes. I do feel that the compulsory 12.5% gratuity added to the bill is a bit over the top. I am quite happy to tip for good service but feel that 10% is sufficient.
It really was a lovely meal. The service was excellent and very friendly and the ambience very attractive and welcoming, and the staff really behaved as if they were pleased to see us. Not always the case in such establishments.
Brilliant as always - greeting, service, menu choice and food. There's not one thing to find fault with - my favourite eaterie in Reigate by far.
