We ordered from the set menu.... great value and lovely food! Service was very good too. It was a sunny evening and was nice to have the opportunity of a table outside.
Fabulous food. Really enjoyed our visit. It has been a long time since I have been this pleased with a meal. And all of the menu looked good.
We always love Cote - wonderful staff and delicious food. Today my food was slightly below par - I had the haddock with bacon and it was rather overcooked and dry. My friends' food was perfect, staff attention great and still a good experience!
Excellent, as usual. Good food, well presented. Good atmosphere, busy without being too loud. And the service is good too, very professional and they leave you to enjoy the meal. All in all, highly recommended.
This is a new cote for us and we were interested to note that the level of good food and service was as high here as in the other cotes we have tried
As always, excellent food and service. Irritated though that I have to write a minimum of 25 words for this review, please reduce the number!
I love Cote but unfortunately I had the muscles as a main course and the next day I was ill all day. I don't know for sure what caused my illness but other than the muscles I had virtually nothing else to eat on the day that I ate my meal there.
We had a really nice lunch, we being my daughter, my grand son (13) and grand daughter (11) and I. The food was delicious and appreciated by all. The Staff are lovely and very efficient.
Delicious food and great service. Always reliable and good value for money. Restaurant setting is nice and lively and can get a bit loud! Can't go wrong basically.
Service was good although our waitress did not seem to initially understand about a nut allergy m, but fetched the duty manager who was excellent and explained. Standard chain menu with a good and varied gluten free menu. Only had a main course this time which was very nice. The only downside is that it is very noisy, this is presumably down to design as it was not that busy a week night. When we have visited before it has been a weekend and full.
Very enjoyable pretheatre meal. Good choice on menu. 2 course meal with a bottle of prosecco between 5 of us came to £18 each. Efficient service
Friendly efficient service. Our food was served quickly considering it was a busy lunchtime. The lunchtime menu was great value for money and most importantly the food was excellent.
Lovely staff and the meal was very good. We always choose Cote when we are in an unknown area and have never been disappointed in the standard of food and service. The value for money is excellent.
Service prompt despite v busy restaurant, staff pleasant and food up to usual good standard. We always enjoy our visits to Cote and have not been disappointed yet.
I love Cotè - they were unfortunately understaffed at a very busy time. We will definitely go back when we aren't as short of time.
First visit to this restaurant . Lovely food and very friendly and helpful staff. We were celebrating a birthday and were treated to Kir Royal champagne cocktails which was lovely touch
Lovely restaurant and food. It was the first time we have been to this branch and we were a group of seven. It was very busy for a Monday evening, so it was quite loud to begin with. The staff did not rush us at all, even though we were slow to order as we were chatting so much! We had to wait a while for our main courses but it didn't particularly bother us as we were not in a hurry. Would definitely return.
It's always a pleasure to visit this restaurant. The staff are welcoming and helpful. On this occasion the duck breast was perfectly cooked. We'll be back!
We always know we are going to have a good meal at Cote, and the staff were really good and made it a more personal and enjoyable visit.
Great food choices and very helpful with food allergies. Good value for money superb food. All team members were friendly and polite making for a lovely atmosphere.
I have never had a bad meal at cotes and the service has al aus been second to none. I am would recommend this restaurant to anyone
As always a great meal. Very varied menu with fab summer salads. The service was very prompt but a good space of time in between courses with lovely staff.
Felt very rushed! Not a relaxing experience! Very busy. Good food. Pleasant staff but whipped plates away without asking if we had finished,,, Would definitely not return as plenty of other restaurants with a more relaxing dining experience on offer in Tunbridge Wells. A shame as other Cote restaurants in other towns are really good,
The meal and service were very good We enjoyed our visit allowing ourselves plenty of time incase the service was slow but it was very quick
Food was good but service poor. Had to chase waiter to order dessert, then chase twice more before it came. whilst they deducted things from the bill we didnt have time to eat it as going to the theatre. after I left and checked the bill they added back on discretionery service charge! Will be finding somewhere else to eat in Tunbridge Wells.
We enjoyed our lunch the only downside was it was quite noisy and to hold a coversation was difficult. A few soft furnishings could help. Otherwise very good experience.
Booking was easy, food was served hot and was of good quality. Service was Efficient and friendly. Atmosphere was cosy with ambient lighting. Overall excellent experience
An excellent evening, great staff and service... The food was great, wine good value, Good dessert and an altogether splendid evening that we both enjoyed..
We had a lovely meal, service was good and friendly staff. It is still a favourite of ours in Tunbridge Wells and we have dined in Covent Garde, Chislehurst, st Pauls and Muswell Hill - alone and with friends and family.
Food was fine but we did ask for the childrens meals to be served at the same time as the starters but unfortunately this only happened with one meal meaning one child had a long wait for his food.
Nice ambience and usual high quality food, well cooked & at reasonable prices. Always reliable with friendly helpful staff. Great central location. Usual menu favourites with seasonal specials makes it hard to choose what to have. It has become our favourite meeting up place after work - so much so we have already booked our next night out there next month!
Good food, service and environment. Management let themselves down by adding a fixed service charge - let the customer decide on the tip. Better still, they should pay their staff properly so they don't need tips!
Lovely food and we were looked after very well. We all had a very nice time celebrating my birthday, will definately be back. Thank you Cote.
We all had the minute steak and frites - cooked to perfection and arrived really quickly. Puddings were also delicious. Staff were friendly and we had a great table by the window. This was a post-exam celebration for my daughter and it did the trick! Will be back soon.
Tunbridge Wells Cote de Brasserie is our favourite cote restaurant in terms of quality of food and service. The set menu keeps changing and is very good value for money.
Great value. Good food for the money, presented extremely well by cheerful, attentive, courteous staff from the managers to the staff in black - all of whom actually seem to care.
A good eating experience. Staff attentive but not overly so. Would not hesitate to recommend to others seeking a good and varied menu and wine list.
House white wine was chilled and full of flavour. We both had steak frites, piping hot, love the creamy herb butter on top of the steak. Frites were gorgeous. Service as always superb!😁
Good quality food and friendly staff. Vegetables arrived in butter after a dairy allergy had been pointed out. Very cold because of the air conditioning.
Service excellent and food delicious. Unfortunately there was a very noisy birthday party with several very young children and lots of crying! Nobody's fault but it made conversation tricky at times and felt a little intrusive!
As ever always an enjoyable evening with great food and great service! The table we were given initially wasn't great so we asked for another and within 5 mins we were moved to a better table.
Had a late Sunday lunch Very nice, good food either in a big group or just a.table for two lovely stuff relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be returning very soon
staff and food great. We were 3 older ladies - one aged 94 and we often go early in the evening as Cote TW is near Trinity Theatre and we can guarantee a welcome.
Good food good service Would be good to have umbrellas outside as it's a real sun trap but can get a bit too hot !
The maitre dé and waiting staff were polite, knowledgable and extremely accommodating. The herb poussin was delicious, compliments to the chef! We will most definitely return
Such lovely and good value food with friendly and efficient service. Have visited several times and always the same. Definitely recommend to others to eat here.
Good food, good service and very reasonably priced, all in all a very enjoyable evening, it was very busy and quite loud in there which is why I score 5 and not 6.
Usual high standard. This branch as a good as all the other branches I have visited Would not hesitate in returning on a future occasion.
Quality and value of the food was good. Initial service was patchy as drinks order had to be repeated and corrected three times (and we were only a small group). However this minor hiccup will not prevent us returning.
Very nice meal and service. Staff were attentive and food arrive promptly. Good choice of menu, reasonably priced, just right for a summer evening meal .
