Lovely lunch in the sun. Service was excellent as usual and the food was great. Would really recommend the prosecco and the fondant for pudding!
We always find the food of a consistent good quality combined with friendly service. The only quibble would be the hard surfaces which make the environment noisy so conversation can be difficult when it is busy.
We enjoyed our visit to cote today 8 September. .The staff were very polite and attentive. The food was delicious as always. My friends and I look forward to our next visit.
An excellent meal, and great value for money. We really enjoyed the whole evening, apart from the noise, but you were very busy, and it was Friday evening.
Lovely food, great service and its just a nice restaurant and a fab dining experience! The menu is varied and provides enough choice for even the fussiest of eaters.
Great atmosphere and value in terms of food and wine. Cote is always reliable, The TW branch is not quite as good as the London branches as far as presentation of the food and attention to detail. The service was, however, excellent.
Good welcome and good service though slow when asking for bill. Had to ask twice for it and then had to remind them wanted to pay !!! Food was excellent and would definitely recommend it.
As always, excellent service and fast tasty food. Visited Cote, Tunbridge Wells a number of times now and each time they are consistently wonderful. 10/10!! Liz
Cote once again delivers - very good food and great service. Can't ask for much more really especially with so much competition about in the town.
Good set menu with a variety of choice. In my opinion the vinegar did not enhance the golden beetroot. Pity the waiter didn't change my friend's saucer when he jogged the coffee by mistake. I had to ask for a paper napkin +clear it. Otherwise atmosphere pleasant +ambience was good.
Excellent food and good, prompt service. We had the pre 7pm menu and the food is such good value. The flavours are delicious and the portions a good size. The spinach salad with roquefort dressing was a fantastic starter. The seabass was cooked to perfection and the chocolate mousse to finish was smooth and intensely flavoured. It is brilliant to be able to order your food and have it arrive quickly; and then to have it cleared without any delay once you have finished. The waiters are unobtrusively attentive. Perfect!
We had a lovely lunch, our waiter was great, very attentive! We wanted Seabass and he said it was off! When we said which fish was being offered instead, he went to check then came back and said we could have it but pay extra for veg 😀 Naughty really but wasn't his fault. All our food was good! Service excellent as waiter had great personality.
Good Meal served in fast time which was important as we were moving on to the Theatre. Service was friendly and efficient even though the restaurant was very busy.
A popular venue when we are going to a performance at Trinity Theatre. 5 of our party got served as requested - there was a confusion over the 6th guest which was tedious and resulted in her having to rush her main course. apart from that the usual high standard.
My wife and I had a fabulous meal that was both delicious and well presented. The service was great but at times a little slow towards the end of our meal. I do not agree with the automatic addition of a 12.5% tip to the bill as customers should be able to choose their own tip without having to opt out. Will still dine here again though!
Really lovely! Great service- beautiful French Brasserie cuisine! we will definitely be visiting again. We found it fairly google value for the excellent quality of food. Four of us had 3 courses, a bottle of wine and coffee and tea to finish off for under £40 each.
A delicious late Sunday lunch before the matine at Trinity Theatre. I had a crepe which didn't come up to expectations and it was replaced by my choice of ice cream without further ado. We, all four enjoyed ourselves and enjoyed our meals
Good value for money but we had to ask for drinks and menus today which is not normally the case. We will be back though.
I was impressed by the flexibility of the staff to accommodate our unusual circumstances, wheelchair, prepayment arrangements and group requirements very good indeed tactful and sensitive
As ever, great food, good service and most importantly a good turnaround - 3 courses, in and out in 65 minutes in plenty of time for the theatre.
Great food and wonderful friendly service. The chain is now 10 years old but has managed to maintain the promise it showed at the beginning.
Friendly welcome and waiters pleasantly chatty with our children. Good menu and efficient service on the early evening menu. Pretty good value for money overall.
Great food Great service Great Value Really feel at home there. Visit often. Don't like service charge automatically put on the bill as like to pay cash instead.
Very good service as usual. My friends and I all had a free Kir Royale because it was my Birthday. Food was wonderful and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Good quality food at reasonable prices The Romanian waitress was excellent. We are frequent visitors to Cotes in Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells and would recommend
A lovely pre- birthday lunch with complimentary kir royals for us all :) The food and service were great 👍 Will be back again soon I hope ;)
Côte just never fails to please. The Pork Belly main course from the lunch menu today was just delicious and along with the other courses, was served with courtesy, efficiency and a cheerful smile as always. Amazing value for money.
The staff were friendly and efficient and overall, the food was of a very good standard. Unfortunately, this is the second time in the last 12 months, Tunbridge Wells Cote staff have returned to our table to inform us of a dish being unavailable... This time it was the Vichyssoise cold soup, which was "unavailable" at approximately 1.20pm, (not late), in a lunchtime service. I feel it necessary to draw attention to this, but would still give this restaurant 5 out of the 6 available stars. A pity about the soup..!!
Really enjoyed our meal. The food was truly amazing as always and the service good. We had the belly pork and Breton Fish Fish Stew which really were excellent. The only problem that we encountered was that our starter arrived at the same time as the main course!
The service staff were extremely welcoming which established a very positive start to the evening. Their attitude confirmed their commitment to ensuring we had a positive experience. Thank you
Enjoyable last minute evening out with friends. Weary friendly service from all staff especially our waiter who served us. Two had the steak frites which was cooked just right and chicken was perfect. Restaurant always seems busy without being overcrowded but gives it a nice buzz
On arrival we were given a warm and friendly greeting, one that we have become used to from all the staff at Cote restaurant's. My party of three enjoyed our meals, which were served quickly and effectively with a smile from our waitress. We were sadden to hear that Sam, the assistant manager will be leaving to take the position of manager in Sevenoaks, Kent, guess we will have to tr that Cote restaurant out in the next month or so.
Great food and service as always. One point docked, please can you include some soft furnishings to reduce echo and volume, find it hard to talk and be heard. Because it is difficult people tend to raise their voices so increasing noise levels. Small point and won't stop us going to Cote. Richard
We had a fantastic meal this evening. All the food was fantastic, if I really had to be picky the Moules were slightly over salted but they tasted fantastic all the same. The only reason I didn't give a six was because it took forever to get the bill.
As usual, great food, great service. Three of us enjoyed a birthday celebration with complimentary kir royals and could not have had a more pleasant dining experience.
We were dining with children that have dairy and nut allergies. Our waiter had experience and personal knowledge of these dietary requirements and advised us confidently on our menu choices. This removed the fear of dining out ! Very refreshing! Thank you.
We are frequent customers at Côte Tunbridge Wells and always find the staff friendly, courteous and most efficient. Highly recommend.
