About Côte West Bridgford

'The authenticity of the food has been augmented by the simplicity of the design … The anchovy pissaladiere, the warm flat bread from Nice were nice and crisp and pungent, the duck, chicken, pork liver terrine was full of flavour … the lamb succulent' – Nicholas Lander, Financial Times

Inspired by the brasseries of Paris, Côte Brasserie is full of character and French flavour. At Côte you’ll find balanced plates, refined tastes and, of course, plenty of French classics. This restaurant is flying the Côte flag high in Nottingham and you can find it on Central Avenue in West Bridgford, where a passionate team are keen to show you everything that relaxed, all-day French dining is about. There are more than a few reasons why Côte Brasserie is so well-loved up and down the UK, and you need to go and find out for yourself.

It was our first time at this restaurant and we found it most enjoyable. We were given a good window table. The food was excellent - exactly what we hoped for from a good French Restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful. We felt that the addition of a 12.5% service charge was a bit steep - we had intended to add 10% which we felt was deserved.

Great atmosphere, menu and service. Child friendly. Been many times, and I tend to order the same dishes each time, they are that good! Recommended

Can't fault it. Excellent . Food, service, general atmosphere all top notch. Easy to book. Been there several times now and will go again - and hopefully enjoy a complimentary drink.

My friend and I went for a lovely breakfast at Cote Brasserie - we had a great table by the window as we got there nice and early but the place soon filled up! I have the Vegetarian breakfast which has veggie sausage, spinach, avocado, lovely bread with 2 poached eggs, half a tomato, a delicious slightly garlicky mushroom and a side of hollandaise sauce. It was absolutely delicious!! I can't fault it at all and would have it again in a heartbeat. With it I had English Breakfast tea and apple juice which was the lovely cloudy apple juice which is just so much better. The only thing that was a bit of a pain is that the table could have done with being a little bigger as there was only just enough room to fit on the plates, sauces, cups, teapots, side plates...! Great service, lovely atmosphere, a bit pricey for breakfast but as a special treat it's still cheaper than going out for an evening meal and just as good : )

Excellent service and great tasting food. Our Waiter knew all about the wines and the menu which was really helpfull. The air conditioning until was very near our table and made it a bit cold but when we mentioned it the fan was adjusted . Recommend the Breton Fish Stew which was outstanding . We are happy to leave a good tip but advise checking your bill as a proposed standard 12.5 % is added automatically to the bill irrelevant of the party size which I don't agree with having been a licensee and ran restaurants and bars for over 15 years. I understand if it is added for a party of say 6 or more as standard.

Our breakfast sorties at Cote have always been a pleasant experience. The staff are impeccably polite, friendly and attentive. The food never fails to please. Our latest visit was an introduction for three very dear friends and a birthday treat for one of them. They were not disappointed and will without doubt return. Our visits have in the past have always been spontaneous and in the morning as they coincide with our shopping trips to the town, hence our addiction to your breakfast menu. We fear this may be unjust to Cote and must find the occasion to sample your later menus. Bon Appetite.

Delicious food. Excellent service by our lovely helpful waitress who was willing to go the extra mile for us. We don't eat meat and both chose fish. Not a huge amount of vegetarian choices but there is a veggie menu available. Tuna nicoise salad was delicious as we're the moules fries although the food could have been hotter. Wine was good and served at a good temperature and the water was refilled on request. We will definitely be returning for a special dinner in the future. Its not a cheap meal out but worth every penny.

We were met by a very pleasant member of staff who showed us to our table. As ever, the menu was excellent. We decided to have the 2 course lunch menu. The food was great and we thoroughly enjoyed lunch. The waitress was lovely, very smiley and made us feel like special customers. I normally don't like having a service charge added to the bill but I don't worry about this in Cote as the service is always great and the service charge is split between all staff.

Warmly welcomed by staff as my dining companion is a regular. We were having a birthday supper and were surprisingly presented by a complimentary glass of champagne within minutes of us sitting at our table. The waiting staff were very accommodating to working around food allergies and intolerances and were very happy to adjust set dishes as needed without additional charges. Overall, a really lovely mid-week evening supper made even better with attentive and interested staff. A big thank you to them all!
