Here, ribs and curried goat, stir fried seafood and plantain salad come together to have you enjoy the authentic taste of the Caribbean. Head chef Andrew McIntosh is recipient of the Caribbean Masterchef Award, and he doesn’t hold back with his culinariy creations. Go there for a programme changing on a nightly basis. You won’t find a more inspiring place in Islington. Promise!

The lovely Islington restaurant makes a great place for that authentic Caribbean feel, and you can come by for lunch or dinner and always find the most delicious dishes from the sunny islands. Head chef Andrew McIntosh won the Caribbean Masterchef award in 2001 and hasn’t looked back, rather continues to serve up an exquisite mix of traditional and fusion meals, showcasing the marvels of the Caribbean at their finest.

We especially love the weekly events like the Rub-a-dub Steak Night on Mondays and the Brazilian Zouk Dance Class on Tuesdays, Comedy@Cottons on Wednesdays, I Love Reggae on Thursday and various parties and spoken word events on Fridays. There isn’t much you can’t do at Cottons at Exmouth Market. The Caribbean Restaurant takes pride in providing a most wonderful dining experience – and lots more, as the weekly programme suggests.
