It was good. Bit Quiet for a Friday before Christmas so atmosphere a bit flat but was nice. Staff very efficient and helpful. Food was good but did expect a bit more after seeing the reviews. Burger was fine but expected a homemade chargrilled burger as advertised as an American diner. Turned out top be rather standard. But overall enjoyed.

My friend and I had the home made lemonade,very refreshing.Our main was deep fried chicken sandwich,ample portion with chips,coleslaw and lovely fresh dressed salad.Staff and service was very friendly and attentive.We had Key lime pie and coffee to round off our meal.It was just missing other diners which is why I am submitting this review.The bill for two was £40 and two very full diners.

What a great place ! The food is delicious especially the buttermilk chicken burger Staff are fab and attentive too Cocktails are gorgeous and not the run of the mill “ sex on the beach etc” And finally very good value for money ... we will be back !

My husband and I dined on a Friday night and had a fantastic time. The cocktails are delicious and different from the usual run of the mill. The food was really good quality American diner - the best!! I had chicken tenders with mash and gravy - superb. My husband had chicken and waffles with bacon and maple syrup - also superb. Finishing with key lime pie and milkshake. The staff are really nice and helpful. Next time we’re up from Manchester we’re back!

The staff were all lovely and very attentive. The food was average and the menu seemed limited compared to what I’d seen online. Nice starter but the buttermilk chicken I had for mains was too salty. Very reasonable prices though.

Stumbled upon fancy hanks by accident, but I am so thankful we did! Beautiful and cosy restaurant, with a very reasonably priced menu and delicious food. The cocktails were a delight too. We will definitely be returning!

Fancy Hanks was absolutely delicious, its nice to know even changing from Cut and Chase the food has not dipped in any way.
