Love this restaurant. Great atmosphere, friendly, genuinely attentive staff and a superb menu of delicious dishes. It takes ages to decide which to have! Thoroughly recommend.
Love this nice, little, cosy place in Fitzrovia. Good Italian food. We have been there severel times and will be back next time we visit London.
Great service and the food was delicious. Space wise it’s on the side but it’s full of character. Highly recommended Italian restaurant, we’ll be back
You were sick your tuna was banging and your pasta was on another level bruvvvv and the wine was booom tinggggg rama dama ding dong
I have been to Da Paolo several times and the food and service are always first class. It was recommended to me by my old boss and I would recommend to anyone wanting some great authentic Italian cuisine.
The food was good. The service was not as good as last time we went, we all found most of the staff a bit brusque.
Everything is right: small but cosy rather than cramped, lovely staff and the best food outside of Italy - better than much inside too, come to think of it. Very reasonably priced plus a selection of wine by the half bottle
Was OKish, is small place and is actually very cramped, having to move tables just to get out to go to the toilet. Staff seemed a bit detached, didn’t ask much about whether we enjoyed the food or not. That said, the food was generally of a high standard, most of ours was really good, but don’t go for the duck, was incredibly tasteless. For the money, I would look elsewhere.
Love this restaurant. They are always friendly and the food is great.
Seated in the basement; loud music deafening; extremely annoying dinner guests next to us; waited ages for the bill to arrive; couldn't wait to get out.
Food great, great value had the set menu good choices. Service good and very friendly. Great time with family. What more is there to say
Truly divine! We had a lovely meal, nice wine, great service. I have eaten here previously and brought some colleagues with me to let them try and they loved it.
Beautiful little restaurant tucked away just off Charlotte St - an Italian gem. Great atmposhere and attentive staff made the visit really enjoyable. The food was excellent and Portions sizes were ample
Excellent food, service and ambience - we had a fabulous time at Da Paolo - looking forward to our next visit - a great find!
Great food, very well cooked and presented and great taste. Cosy interior with good ambience even though a Sunday night and less than half full. Will definitely revisit.
Lovely little bustling Italian, friendly staff and one of the most delicious tiramisu's ever tasted! Very busy on a friday lunchtime which made it a bit squashed but a good atmosphere.
Lovely Italian food very good portion sizes the tiramisu was delicious so leave some room for it. The staff were very friendly and welcoming would definitely recommend
WE had an excellent meal - the Prawns with Chillies was superb and the calves liver literally melted in the mouth as it was so soft. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food and service and we sat outside on the cobbled street, so we felt that we were dining al Fresco in Italy itself :)
Excellent restaurant. Good freshly cooked food. My roasted salmon was delicious. The staff were very friendly. Attractive place. I liked the yellow roses on the fabled. Would certainly recommend and hope to return.
Great, home-cooked Italian food. Nice big portions and lovely service. It also has central London prices but I don't mind. I love coming back here again and again.
I have been there 3 times and the experience has always been great. Fantastic food, warm and pleasant staff and wonderful surroundings. I hope to get there soon again and can recommend Da Paolo to everyone. This is my favourit restaurant in London and my overall favourite Italian restaurant.
Service charge £10 when we weren't given a menu and had to ask for drinks. Food was nice but starters were quite expensive , £9.99 for a prawn cocktail.
Friendly and engaging staff, lovely food and not too expensive. On top of that, the location's brilliant too! Highly recommended for lunch or dinner. Do it.
Excellent food and the service was friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere. Would definitely come again next time we are in London. A really nice meal.
A lovely restaurant, very cosy, very friendly and welcoming staff. There was a good choice of food with more than enough on the plate. Price was reasonable and will definitely go back there again.
This restaurant is authentically Italian, with a great atmosphere and excellent food. Special good mark to their tiramisu, which was just as you want it : not too sweet and the mascarpone is as light as a cloud.
lovely food, great service - we had a meal here with friends before going to the Dominion Theatre a short walk away - definitely recommend!
Great service, the staff was attentive and helpful. The starters were very good, but the meat second dishes were quite average and not very impressive.
the food was exceptional, amazing service too, thoroughly enjoyed and we will revisit when we are back in town. This could become our favourite restaurant
I love this place! The gnocchi is what dreams are made of!! Excellent service and if you get a chance to sit outside you feel like you are in Paris!
Fantastic food and service, highly recommend! This was our third visit and each time the standard is the same. This visit I had the mushroom crostini followed by gnocchi and tiramisu to finish :)
Amazing food. Amazing ambience. Amazing prices and truly Amazing staff.... I have visited many many times and Da Paolo is always such a very very good experience.. A small venue on the ground floor but big on service, cooking and value. Thoroughly recommended.
Excellent local Italian in Fitzrovia which has been around for more than 27 years for a good reason. The tagliatelle with truffles which is sometimes on as a special is so simple but is one of my fave dishes in any restaurant in London. Very friendly staff and nice ambience. Thanks
Excellent option in London. The food was perfect. Good wine, in spite of a little expensive. And we have to point out the good service of waitresses.
It was fine, table was nice, set menu well priced and service good. It was late afternoon so it was quiet inside although tables outside were full. Many thanks
One of my favourite restaurants in Central London. Situated down a side street Da Paolo is a small but vibrant restaurant. Nicely decorated with photographs it has a traditional feel. Service is friendly and welcoming. The food is consistently good. A wide ranging menu backed up with specials offers a wide selection. Good location for business lunches. Reasonably priced. Would recommend it.
This restaurant is like a piece of Italy in the centre of London. it has a buzzy atmosphere as lots of people also know what a good place it is. The staff could not be more helpful and courteous and the food and wine was terrific. The portions are large so beware when ordering. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant and I intend to go back there again.
The staff are soo nice, very friendly and very attentative. The food is soo amazing! We had crabmeat & avocado, meddles for starters, main chicken in lemon and sea bass, all cooked to perfection!! Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you
Tables are small and far too close to each other. I order a fish dish; the fish was overcooked, the vegetables were cold and hardly cooked.
