We were the only people in the restaurant when we arrived at 7:30 but a few more tables were taken over the next hour. Food was lovely but we only had a main course. Lovely local family place...would go again.

I've loved dining at Da Paulo for years and its great to be back enjoying hearty Italian food in this excellent setting.

I booked da paolo for my 21st celebration, the restaurant was small like a stunning classy italian, delicious food and friendly service from the waitors and waitress very happy with my first experience 😊

Excellent quality food, huge portions. Staff were a tad over fussy about the amount of room between tables. V cramped restaurant but cannot fault the cuisine .

Every time we visit London we eat at Da Paolo’s. The food is amazing, portions large, service great and we don’t think it is expensive. We are already looking forward to eating there again next time we are down from Scotland.

Lovely staff, and delicious food! More choice for vegetarians would make it a firm favourite... Noisy and squashed up, but that's perhaps part of the charm.

The food was value for money. The portions were huge. The staff were nice and friendly. A small minus point was that the space of the restaurant is small and tables were placed very close to each other thus not much ambiance for people who want privacy. But if it is good food you are after this is the place!

It is a lovely place, nice decoration and cozy atmosphere. However, an annoying selection of tacky italian music was playing loudly in the background. Since the restaurant was packed (Valentine's), the overall noise was really uncomfortanble. Food is OK, but prices seem to be high for that cuisine level.

A wonderful, authentic Italian restaurant serving good food and plenty of it at very reasonable, competitive prices. The goat's cheese salad was huge and their tagliatelle Bolognese might be simple but it's excellent and hits the spot every time. A hidden gem buried among loads of chain restaurants in Fitzrovia.

Delicious food and wine at a great price. Service was good, but did have to ask to order and ask for water twice. They were busy, and it was a lovely evening.

Tables very close together and could hear neighbours talking. Wine was ridiculously expensive. Food however was delicious and service perfect.

Everything a proper Italian restaurant should be - feels like a home from home, wonderful ingredients lovingly prepared. Love it & love that over the last three years the ‘specials board’ remains unchanged! The wild boar & squid remain a constant! Big love to all of the kitchen staff & the front of house team x
